Remember that brief but colorful marriage to Billy Bob Thornton? The matching vials of their blood?
Today, after six children and a loving, stable relationship with Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie has come a long way from her days as a Hollywood wild child.
"I went through heavy, darker times and I survived them," the Oscar winner, 36, tells 60 Minutes in a show airing Sunday.

Billy Bob Thornton's estranged daughter, Amanda Brumfield, was sentenced to 20 years in prison Thursday after being convicted of aggravated manslaughter of a child in May, the Orlando Sentinel reports.
In October 2008, Brumfield was babysitting her goddaughter, 1-year-old Olivia Madison Garcia, who died while in her care in central Florida.
Brumfield, 32, was initially charged with murder in the child's death, but was found not guilty.
"I miss Olivia just as much as anybody does," she said at Thursday's sentencing before breaking down, according to the Sentinel.

The estranged daughter of Billy Bob Thornton had been convicted of aggravated manslaughter in the death of a friend's baby daughter, but was found not guilty of first-degree murder.
The verdict was handed down last Friday to Amanda Brumfield, 32, in the same Orlando, Fla., courthouse where Casey Anthony is being tried for the murder of her daughter, the Orlando Sentinel reports.
Brumfield had claimed the death of 1-year-old Olivia Madison Garcia, while in her care as a babysitter one night in October 2008, was an accident – and that she had simply fallen a short distance out of a playpen.
