She's been a focus of controversy this year, but Miley Cyrus turned heads as a model of safety and caution as she took her new motorcycle for a spin on Monday.
The "We Can't Stop" singer wore a helmet that coordinated perfectly with her new Cam-Am Spyder, a 21st birthday present from her father, Billy Ray Cyrus. The bike is customized with her initials and the cost was estimated at around $24,000.
Miley drove her new ATV around Toluca Lake, Calif., the same neighborhood where Billy Ray was photographed driving the motorcycle with his younger daughter Noah on the back.

She may have revamped her image as a total sex kitten, but deep down Miley Cyrus is still a daddy's girl … and Billy Ray didn't let her forget it on her 21st birthday Saturday.
Her doting pop went all out on her gift, buying the singer a $24,000 customized Cam-Am Spyder motorcycle, complete with her initials plastered all over it.
The three-wheeled motorcycle has lately become a trendy toy among the rich and famous – The Game, Ryan Reynolds and Jada Pinkett Smith have all been seen tooling around town on them – and even Billy Ray was photographed taking the gift for a spin around his Toluca Lake neighborhood with younger daughter Noah on the back on Friday

If you've been wondering what Billy Ray Cyrus thought of Miley's controversial VMA performance on Sunday, you're not alone. But instead of adding to the cacophony of opinions about the show, Cyrus is simply reiterating his love and support for his daughter.
"Of course I'll always be here for Miley. Can't wait to see her when she gets home," Cyrus, 52, tells Entertainment Tonight.
"She's still my little girl and I'm still her dad regardless how this circus we call show business plays out. I love her unconditionally and that will never change."

Miley Cyrus has at least one supporter this week, and he's no stranger to controversy himself.
"Listen if it wasn't ur cup of tea – all good but why is everyone spazzing? Hey – she's doin something right. We all talkin," Adam Lambert wrote Monday on Twitter.
He stopped short, though, of saying he actually enjoyed the 20-year-old pop star's twerking routine with Robin Thicke.

They seem to have built a bridge over troubled family waters: Miley Cyrus and her dad Billy Ray Cyrus reunited at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday.
Sitting in the front row, Billy Ray, Miley and her younger sister Noah were the picture of a loving family. Billy Ray was spotted cheering on his eldest daughter and snapped photos of her while she gave her acceptance speech. Earlier in the night, Miley leaned on his shoulder as he gave her a supportive hug.
The father-daughter night out was a big change from where their relationship seemed to stand in June.

Miley Cyrus may not have to see her parents divorce after all.
Although Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus filed for divorce in June, they have had a change of heart, according to a snuggly Instagram photo posted Saturday night with the caption "Date Night."
"We both woke up and realized we love each other and decided we want to stay together," they say in a statement. "We both went into couples therapy something we haven't done in 22 years of being together, and it's brought us closer together and really opened up our communication in amazing ways."

If a recent photo is any indication, Miley Cyrus's family is in a good place following the news of her parents' divorce.
The pop star's 13-year-old sister Noah was photographed stepping out of Little Toni's eatery in North Hollywood on Sunday with both parents in tow – after Miley, 20, recently told a radio host that she was worried about Noah in light of Billy Ray, 51, and Tish Cyrus's divorce proceedings.
Noah – who Tweeted, "Please pray for my family," shortly after news broke that her parents were calling it quits for the second time – strolled alongside her mom and dad, who hung close to each other.

A few days after Billy Ray Cyrus, 51, and Tish Cyrus, 53, publicly announced their plans to divorce, daughter Miley Cyrus, 20, let cyberspace know that she and her girls are sticking together.
"The baddest b–s in the WORLD," the "We Can't Stop" singer Tweeted on Saturday to accompany a shot of little sister, Noah, 13, and their mom, posing in a car with matching blonde hair.

Hours after the news broke of her parents' divorce, Miley Cyrus was on the air in Chicago promoting her new single, "We Can't Stop," from an upcoming, still-untitled pop album.
"She was in a really good mood, and she was talking about how she worked with Snoop Dogg on her album, and we asked her about her hair and her new look," Showbiz Shelly, entertainment reporter for B96 Radio in Chicago, tells PEOPLE of the Friday broadcast.
But after the interview, Cyrus – whose father, Billy Ray Cyrus, and mother, Tish Cyrus, announced their split to PEOPLE late Thursday – opened up about more personal matters, including concern for her little sister, Noah.
