Rose Byrne & Bobby Cannavale Hold Hands at Portlandia Party in N.Y.C.

New couple alert?
Rose Byrne and Boardwalk Empire's Bobby Cannavale clutched hands as they surreptitiously made their way through the crowd inside the Hall of Ocean Life at New York's American Museum of Natural History Monday night. Though the duo never posed for pictures together on the red carpet, they looked to be very much together and enjoying each other's company at a bash to celebrate IFC's hit comedy Portlandia's upcoming third season (Jan. 4, 10 p.m. ET). (When asked if they were dating, Byrne's rep had no comment.)
The soiree, which began with a screening of two upcoming episodes from the series and an introduction by its stars and writers, Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein, continued into the vast ocean-themed room, lined with hundreds of models of sea creatures and bathed purplish-blue lights as a 94 ft. long blue whale hung from the ceiling.
A who's who of the comedy world stars – Martin Short; David Cross and wife Amber Tamblyn; and most of the current cast of SNL – mingled in the large room, chatting with each other and with fans (there was no separate VIP section) and grabbing drinks from the large bar in the center of the room or nibbling passed Hors d'oeuvre such as bite-sized waffles with Camembert cheese.

It was an A-list party for the A-listers!
On Sunday night, Al Pacino, Christopher Walken, Alan Arkin and Julianna Margulies celebrated their new film Stand Up Guys at The Oak Room in New York's Plaza Hotel.
"Al Pacino chatted with Christopher Walken, Alan Arkin and director Fisher Stevens as they sipped on cocktails," an onlooker tells PEOPLE.
It was a star-studded affair as Ben Stiller, Liev Schreiber, Matt Dillion, Jeremy Piven, Mariska Hargitay, Jon Bon Jovi, Alan Cumming, Girls' Zosia Mamet and Boardwalk Empire's Bobby Cannavale were all also in attendance.
After the screening at the Museum of Modern Art ended, guests enjoyed Appleton Estate cocktails, small bites of lobster claw, salmon tartar, mushroom crostinis and shrimp cocktails.

Lunch with a crunch!
Chris Rock and Bobby Cannavale had lunch Tuesday at Jacob's Pickles in New York.
At the restaurant – which specializes in Southern comfort food – the actors both opted for the same delicious dish: the honey chicken and pickles sandwich made with buttermilk fried chicken and served on a biscuit.
"They were extremely receptive to autograph seekers and seemed to want to be noticed," fellow diner Verne Isom tells PEOPLE.
The comedian-actor and the Boardwalk Empire star costarred in last year's production of The Motherf–er with the Hat on Broadway.
