It looks like U2's Adam Clayton has finally found the One.

The longtime bachelor bassist, 53, wed Brazilian model Mariana Teixeira de Carvalho in a simple ceremony in Dublin on Wednesday, he was "delighted to confirm" to PEOPLE via his rep.

The couple have been dating for four years and became engaged earlier this year when Clayton popped the question in Mariana's native Brazil during Carnival, according to BBC News.

Bono must have taught his daughter Eve Hewson a thing or two about making an entrance.

The actress made her red-carpet debut at the Cannes Film Festival on Friday wearing a daring black and pink Chanel gown to the screening of her new film, This Must Be the Place.

Hewson is in good company starring alongside Sean Penn in her first big movie role. The film follows an aging rock star on his quest to find his father's persecutor, an ex-Nazi war criminal.



The 19-year-old previously made her acting debut in the indie film The 27 Club.

Bono Has Emergency Back Surgery

U2 frontman Bono has been hospitalized after having surgery, the band said in a message posted online Friday.

"Bono has today undergone emergency back surgery for an injury sustained during tour preparation training," reads the message on U2.com. "He was admitted to a specialist neurosurgery unit in a Munich hospital, and is under the care of neurosurgeon Prof. Dr. Jorg Tonn and Dr. Muller Wohlfahrt. Bono will spend the next few days there, before returning home to recuperate."

It's unclear how the band’s tour will be affected by Bono's injury. "Once his condition has been assessed further, a statement will be made regarding the impact on forthcoming tour dates," says the message.
