As several cast members from The Real Housewives of Orange County attempt to shut out Vicki Gunvalson (in part due to her ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers' alleged fabrications about having cancer) by threatening not to film with her anymore, Gunvalson has found an unlikely ally in former franchise star Brandi Glanville.
"I just though she got a bad rap," The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills vet Glanville told PEOPLE at the Rhonda's Kiss All-Star benefit concert to raise funds for cancer care in Los Angeles on Tuesday. "Without her and Brooks this season, they wouldn't have had a storyline, and now they're saying they don't want to shoot with her? It disgusts me!"
Glanville, who left her show earlier this year after a negative social media backlash, said she doesn't think Gunvalson should get the ax because of Ayers' behavior.

Just because Kim Richards, Yolanda Foster and Brandi Glanville are off The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills doesn't mean they aren't ladies who lunch.
Glanville, 42, shared a photo Thursday of the blonde pals smiling from beneath stylish sunglasses while grabbing a meal in honor of Richards' 51st birthday.
"Birthday lunch for my friend @KimRichards11 with the strong & Amazing @YolandaHFoster #realfriends," Glanville tweeted.
In June, sources told PEOPLE that the none of the three women are returning to the Bravo reality show as regulars next season: Richards because of her struggle to stay sober, and Foster, 51, because of her ongoing battle with Lyme disease.

Brandi Glanville is at her most unfiltered following her exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Just a week after saying Bravo will always be her family, the former model had some choice words for her costars – including the, ahem, "See You Next Tuesday" one – because she says they've been fueling rumors that she was fired from the reality show.
"They don't know. They have no idea. But here's what sucks, and this is why they're c---s," she told Howard Stern on Wednesday. "Because they're saying I got fired, and I'm in the process of moving, trying to rent a house for my two children, and no one will rent to me because they don't think I have a job."

Brandi Glanville has cemented a reputation on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for creating drama, but she says there are no hard feelings when it comes to her exit from the series.
Glanville, 42, broke her silence Wednesday on her podcast, Brandi Glanville: Unfiltered.
"After a lot of careful thought and deliberation, I have decided not to return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," she said. "They've been awesome, and Bravo will always be my family. Like Andy [Cohen] said, it's the Mafia. You never really get to leave us. And they've been so great to me, and if I'm available and they need me, they know where to find me."

After seasons at the center of the drama on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Brandi Glanville's exit isn't exactly surprising.
The former model and mom of two won't return as a regular cast member, PEOPLE confirmed Thursday. The news comes after Glanville fought with costars Kyle Richards, Lisa Vanderpump, Eileen Davidson and Lisa Rinna throughout season 5.
"Brandi got too big for her britches. She was a diva, and it came around to bite her," a source tells PEOPLE. "By the end, she couldn't get along with anyone, and no one wanted to shoot with her."
