Britney Spears sure knows how to create a scene.
With one estimate saying 1,000 people were waiting for her, the gathering took place outside the Planet Hollywood Resort on Tuesday as the pop princess made her "official arrival" to Sin City, all in anticipation of her 2-year residency show at the Strip hotel – due to kick off on Dec. 27, just in time for the New Year's Eve crowds.
With giant pink letters bearing Britney's name adorning the steps to the casino, at least a dozen dancers from her upcoming show performed outside the hotel, amounting to a bit of a sneak peak of what to expect when her "Piece Of Me" show opens – think fire breathers, along with a dancer re-enacting Britney's notorious 2001 VMA performance with the snake and aerialists.

Call me maybe?
David Lucado didn't – and ended up in the doghouse recently with girlfriend Britney Spears, the singer reveals in an interview airing Tuesday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
"We were in a tiffy last night," she says. "It's his fault, of course. He forgot to call me back for a really long time ... like six hours."
DeGeneres jokingly offers to call Lucado and set him straight, but Spears demurs. "No, we're fine now," she says. "We're totally fine."

Less than a year after her broken engagement, Britney Spears has found romance again – and it sounds like she's ecstatic.
"I'm in love," Spears, 31, told Entertainment Tonight about beau David Lucado. "I like the fact that [Lucado is] very stubborn and he's stuck in his ways."
"He's just a simple man. I adore him," she said of the Virginia native who has worked at a law firm. "He's really funny and he's really passionate. I love the fact that anything he's involved in he's passionate about and it's contagious."

Excuse us, but we couldn't help but notice that Cheetos are having a moment. And yet, with the good Cheetos news, comes the very bad, and so it goes for Hollywood's opinion of the cheesy product as well.
While Miranda Lambert decided to give them up, Jessica Biel recently shared her Cheetos praise on Twitter. Indeed, many stars seem to have a love/hate relationship with the crunchy, orange-dusted snack.
Let's look at the evidence.

Dressed down in black skinny jeans and a peplum top, a radiant Britney Spears gave a small crowd a sneak peek at her "personal" upcoming album, Britney Jean.
With her long hair down in waves, the singer, 31, even sang along to a few tracks while joking and giggling with the album's executive producer will.i.am and moderator Andy Cohen, who kicked off the evening by asking her what the inspiration was for this particular album.
"It's my most personal," she said. "With the breakup [from ex-fiancé Jason Trawick] this year … what you do to get through it … being with your family and getting through it." As for what gives the pop star fuel in the studio? "I like sushi and skittles," Spears said, laughing.

How's this for a festive birthday blowout?
Britney Spears got a welcome surprise ahead of her 32nd birthday on Dec. 2 when pint-size stars Sophia Grace and Rosie recently stopped by a studio where the pop star was rehearsing for her upcoming Vegas gig.
And it was all thanks to Ellen DeGeneres, who will air a clip of the adorable meet-and-greet on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Friday. But you can watch it below right now.

They've got the looks, the many perks, the multiple homes (and fabulous vacations) … but perhaps the biggest thing that separates an ordinary person from a celebrity is the number on our paychecks.
While words like "recession" and "downslide" continue to pervade our conversations, there's an elite tier among Hollywood's biggest stars for whom those concepts have little impact.
Case in point: Matt Damon, who recently joined his good friend George Clooney in a Nespresso ad that only plays overseas. His 20-second appearance reportedly netted the actor a $3 million payday, or if you do the math, $150,000 a second.
