Inside Brody Jenner's Belated Birthday Bash

• Brody Jenner spent his actual 26th birthday – Aug. 21 – in the hospital, so on Tuesday the Hills star threw himself a belated celebration at brand-new L.A. club Mi-6. Jenner and his guests – including best pal Frankie Delgado and, briefly, stepsister Khloe Kardashian – took over an upstairs table, where the reality star bounced up and down to live performances by rapper Too $hort and Dirt Nasty (a.k.a. actor Simon Rex). Jenner was loving the musical attention, especially as the acts would call out his name during their songs, and also perked up when waitresses brought over vodka, champagne, sparklers and a cake while the entire club treated him to a "Happy Birthday" serenade.

Brody Jenner Has Birthday Surgery

Instead of indulging in cake and ice cream for his birthday on Friday, Hills actor Brody Jenner was served up less-tastier hospital fare.
"Brody Jenner unfortunately spent the morning of his 26th birthday having his appendix removed," his rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.
The son of Olympian athlete Bruce Jenner and songwriter Linda Thompson is doing well post-surgery, says the rep. "He is resting with family and friends and expected to have a speedy recovery."

• Brody Jenner, throwing Playmate girlfriend Jayde Nicole a Mardi Gras-themed 23rd birthday bash at West Hollywood's Apple Lounge. The Bromance star outfitted the room with dancers, sparklers and balloons, and made sure all of Nicole's Playmate girlfriends were on hand. "Jayde and Brody were real cute and sweet together and very affectionate," says a guest. "They were whispering in each other's ears the whole night."

Brody Jenner may be known as a Hollywood hunk with a habit of club-hopping and playing the field, but those days are over, he says – now that he's dating Playboy's 2008 Playmate of the Year, Jayde Nicole.
"We're completely smitten for each other," Jenner, 25, tells PEOPLE. "I'm loving life."
The couple, who've known each other (through one of Jenner's exes) for more than two years, had a bit of a false start when Jenner asked Nicole, 22, to meet him at a San Diego club, where he was hosting an event, and she didn't show up.
