Diane Kruger and longtime beau Joshua Jackson showed no lack of loving emotion over the weekend.
The actress came out to the Broad Stage in Santa Monica, Calif., to support her man, who performed during The 24 Hour Plays, presented by Montblanc.
"She held back while Josh walked the red carpet," an onlooker tells PEOPLE. "But at the after party, the couple was fully together, while hanging out with Amy Smart."
The typically private pair – the subject of recent engagement rumors – stuck to the back area of the party where they weren't as noticeable, but the source says the twosome were smiling and laughing a lot, adding, "[They seemed] totally in love."
Jackson, who appeared as "a total gentleman," was in a great mood at the event, the source says, adding, "It was really sweet to watch [the couple together]."
Ashley Greene, Brooklyn Decker, Jessica Szohr and Wilmer Valderrama were also among the celebrities who took part in an on-stage performance.

Brooklyn Decker and her husband, tennis pro Andy Roddick, have plans to start a family down the road – and it will include their own biological kids as well as adopted children, according to the model.
"I want to adopt a child or a baby with an intellectual disability one day," Decker, 25, tells Canadian magazine Flare. "I mean, that's in the distant future, but that’s always been a goal of mine."
Despite saying their plans are in the "distant future," Decker's made no secret of her desire to have children with Roddick, whom she wed in 2009. In 2010, she said she couldn't wait to be "barefoot and pregnant".

Brooklyn Decker may be happily married to Andy Roddick but, according to the model, it's probably best for the two to keep their professional lives separate.
"He tried to give me a lesson once, and I ended up hitting all the tennis balls over the fence and smashing my racket because I was so frustrated," Decker, 24, tells Women's Health in its May issue.
"I told him, 'You don't teach me how to play tennis and I won't teach you how to model in a bathing suit.' "
"And," she continues, "so far it's worked."

By modern standards, Brooklyn Decker was on the young side when she walked down the aisle with Andy Roddick last year at age 22. But for both the bride and groom's families, there was nothing unusual about it.
"It wasn't weird for me," Decker tells the latest issue of Page Six Magazine. "My mom got married when she was 19, and my husband's parents got married young – in their 20s. And both sets of parents are still together. We're so lucky. We had that influence around us, and basically, it came down to the fact that neither of us had to get married."

Tennis champ Andy Roddick can expect to have some little fans of his own cheering courtside at his games – but all in good time, insists his wife, swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker.
"I want to live a normal life – drive my kids to school, have tons of animals running around, be barefoot and pregnant," Decker, 23, tells Women's Health magazine in its September issue. "I want all that ... just not anytime soon."
For now, the blonde bikini babe has other plans: She's making her feature film debut alongside Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler in Just Go with It, a romantic comedy due in theaters next February. Decker plays a love interest of Sandler's.

With basketball big shots Lebron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh teaming up in Miami, fans can expect the games to pack a lot of heat. But it's not just the players that are bringing the sizzle.
Like the Los Angeles Lakers games on the West coast, Miami Heat games are star-studded events, known to bring out celebs like Kim Kardashian, Celine Dion and Beyoncé Knowles to courtside seats.
Plan on attending a Heat game? You may be sitting on the sidelines with J.Lo and Marc Anthony, who own a waterfront condo in Miami. Floridian Jimmy Buffett never misses a game – or a move – and he often gets floor seats, which makes him just as fanatical as Jack Nicholson at a Lakers game.
