It looks like The Help doesn't need much more help!
Casting for the big-screen adaptation of writer Kathryn Stockett's debut novel is nearly complete, according to Entertainment Weekly. Allison Janney was recently slotted to take the role of Charlotte Phelan, mother to plucky heroine Skeeter Phelan (Emma Stone), who rounds out the female-driven cast.
Janney and Stone join Oscar-nominee Viola Davis as determined maid Aibileen Clark, Ugly Betty's Octavia Spencer as her tough-talking pal, maid Minny Jackson, and Bryce Dallas Howard in another slightly villainous role as Hilly Holbrook, Skeeter's snooty adversary.

One is the daughter of Hollywood royalty, and won a Golden Globe nomination for a 2006 performance in a Shakespeare adaptation. The other is a bilingual Canuck who likes an active role – and loves vampire books. But only one of the two – Bryce Dallas Howard, or the woman she's replacing in the Twilight series' Eclipse, Rachelle Lefevre – can play evil bloodsucker Victoria. Who do you think it should be?

Twilight fans are used to the renegade vampire Victoria causing trouble for lovers Bella and Edward, but come the third installment of the film series, they may be taken aback by Bryce Dallas Howard baring her fangs in the role.
That's right: The 28-year-old daughter of director Ron Howard will be replacing Rachelle Lefevre, 30, who took on the role for the first film and its upcoming sequel, New Moon.
"Rachelle brought Victoria to great screen life, and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character,"says Erik Feig, president of worldwide production and acquisitions for Summit Entertainment. "The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role."
According to Summit, Lefevre is leaving the series because of scheduling conflicts with a new film project. She's slated to appear opposite Dustin Hoffman in the independent film Barney's Version, which begins filming the same day as Eclipse – only on the opposite end of the continent, in Quebec.

Hollywood actresses often feel pressure to bounce back into shape after having a baby – but Bryce Dallas Howard was actually encouraged to keep on the baby weight.
Howard had recently given birth to son Theo, now 2, when McG, the director of Terminator Salvation, offered her the role of Kate, the wife of the film's hero John Connor, played by Christian Bale.
"I had a pregnant body with no child in it," she told PEOPLE at the movie's Los Angeles premiere Thursday.
