Ever heard a celeb story that sounded too good to be true?

Gossip column veteran Michael Lewittes – he's worked for the New York's Daily News, US Weekly and Access Hollywood – and long-time friend Dan Abrams, MSNBC's legal analyst, want to set the record straight for you: they recently launched GossipCop.com, a Web site that measures just how real the rumors are, on a scale resembling a thermometer.

Ladies of Comic-Con Reveal Their Favorite Festival Moments

It's official: Ladies love getting their geek on at Comic-Con.

Even though it's been perceived in the past as a "fanboys only" festival, some of Hollywood's hottest actresses are embracing it as their own as they meet their most passionate audience. Some even want to sneak around in costume!

New Moon star Kristen Stewart – this year's "Con Queen" – had several thousand devoted Twilighters flocking to San Diego to catch a sneak peak of her film's footage and see her and her costars.

"This is definitely a high," said Stewart. "It's a little overwhelming to have so many people here, but I guess that's a good thing. Just judging from past experiences – when I show up at these sort of places, I'm sort of blown away and in this case I was ready for it."

Ready or not, the fanaticism can be contagious. "Certainly there is a major geek within me, actually, just kind of right on the surface," laughed Scarlett Johansson, who wore exotic Christian Louboutin heels she called her "super-hero booties" while promoting Iron Man 2. "I have never experienced anything like this before, two weeks after filming has wrapped. It's exciting to be a part of something that kind of has this built-in fan base that's got this electricity around it."

Two of Hollywood's newest scream queens, Cameron Diaz and Megan Fox, star in upcoming horror films, but admit they're scaredy cats when it comes to watching them.

Even the previews can be too much for Diaz. "You know what terrifies me? Trailers to horror movies!" she told PEOPLE while previewing her psychological thriller The Box at Comic-Con over the weekend. "I just can't watch them. I hate horror movies. I'm always afraid."

The actress especially can't watch them at night, she adds with a shudder. "I kind of want to look, but I'm always afraid that I'm going to look too long and see the one image that I'm not going to be able to get out of my head for at least a week every night before I'm going to bed," she said.

She surfs. She acts. And Cameron Diaz makes a really mean chili cheese fry.

In her latest movie, My Sister’s Keeper, Diaz plays onscreen mom to Little Miss Sunshine Oscar-nominated actress Abigail Breslin, CSI: Miami's Evan Ellingson and Medium's Sofia Vassilieva. During production, the role continued off screen, too, when Diaz cooked lunch for them in her trailer.

"I made them guacamole and chili cheese fries and fajitas," Diaz, 36, told PEOPLE at Wednesday night's premiere of the film, based on novelist Jodi Picoult's bestseller about a young girl who sues her parents.

It wasn't just any old ceremony when Cameron Diaz got her star on Hollywood Boulevard's Walk of Fame, it was a star-studded event: Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and sister Charlie's Angels star Lucy Liu gathered with the hundred of fans who witnessed Diaz's honor in front of the Egyptian Theater on Monday.

Diaz, whose My Sister's Keeper opens Friday, credited her success to her parents and said, "I dedicate this star to the eternal love that my mom and dad shared. It was what has given me the strength and courage to live this extraordinary life, and it was that powers the light that burns inside of me, bright enough for me to be honored today with this star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame."

Diaz, 36, is the 2,386th star to be so honored on the famed sidewalk. Her beloved father, Emilio Diaz, died in April 2008, at age 58. The actress's mother, Billie, as well as her older sister, Chimene, also attended the ceremony.

Cameron Diaz thinks women fear being "shunned" if they don't want to have children – but she's not about to succumb to any social pressure.

"I never say never. I don't know what's going to happen," the single star, 36, tells Cosmopolitan's U.K. edition. "I could end up adopting half a dozen kids, or I could end up being the next 'octomum' – who fricking knows!”

But she says society expects women to procreate. "I think women are afraid to say that they don't want children because they're going to get shunned," she tells the magazine in its July issue. "But I think that's changing too now. I have more girlfriends who don't have kids than those that do. And honestly? We don't need any more kids. We have plenty of people on this planet."

Cameron Diaz was in a festive – and complimentary – mood at Tuesday night's Webby Awards in New York where she presented the top award to Jimmy Fallon.

"I'm here because of a guy named Jimmy Fallon, you guys may know him, right?" she joked before presenting the newly-minted TV host with the Webby Person of the Year award at Cipriani Wall Street. "He seamlessly took over this little show called Late Night. Have you guys heard of that? Of course I'm just kidding, it's legendary."

Diaz went on to praise Fallon, who was accompanied at the ceremony by his wife Nancy Juvonen, for "seamlessly" taking over the talk show previously hosted by Conan O'Brien.
