Cameron Diaz: 'I Like the Way I Look Now Better Than at 25'

Cameron Diaz loves her body and thinks you should love yours, too.

"I don't want to look like I did when I was 25," the actress, 41, tells PEOPLE. "I like the way that I look now better than when I was 25. I can't help that other people may be uncomfortable with that, but that's not my responsibility to make them feel okay with the fact that I'm getting older. I'm okay with it. I like it."

In her new tome, The Body Book, Diaz opens up about her own struggles with food, her beliefs about beauty and her suggestions for getting healthy in the New Year.

"There's no such thing as anti-aging," Diaz tells PEOPLE. "There's no such thing as turning back the hands of time, and it makes me crazy that we live in a society where that's sold to women – that we're supposed to believe that if we're getting older, we've failed somehow, that we have failed by not staying young."

The Sound of Snark – er, Music – Takes Over Twitter

The Most Important Thing Online: The Sound of Music Takes Over Twitter

Originally posted 12/06/2013 02:00PM

The Sound of Music sounds suspiciously like the sound of snark.

Thursday night, the new version of Rodgers and Hammerstein's musical – which was later turned into the iconic 1965 movie starring Julie Andrews – aired live on NBC, with Carrie Underwood and True Blood's Stephen Moyer filling the shoes of Maria and Captain Von Trapp.

But, according to Twitter, the new Sound of Music wasn't really one of viewers' favorite things.

Everyone from Cameron Diaz to DiGiorno's Pizza got in the act, live-Tweeting commentary on the sets, costumes and, of course, how bad Nazis are (thanks for the insight, Cammie D!).

Cameron Diaz as Annie's Miss Hannigan: See the First Photo

Look out, Carol Burnett! Cameron Diaz is piling on the sass to portray the famously hardhearted Miss Hannigan in the movie remake of Annie.

The actress, 41, Tweeted a photo of herself in costume – big hoop earrings, a heap of thick chain necklaces (one of them spells out "HBomb"), dark makeup and even darker roots.

"I want you to meet someone," Diaz writes in the caption. "Her name is Ms. Hannigan. She ain't nice and she ain't pretty. #Annie"

Penélope Cruz: My Family Will Always Be a Priority

Originally posted 10/06/2013 05:00PM

It's not even three months since she gave birth to her daughter, Luna, so Penélope Cruz knows all about the difficult balancing act that working moms struggle with.

“I’ve always been a very family person, since I was a little girl, that’s the way I was raised,” Cruz, 36, said during Saturday's London press conference for her new movie The Counselor. “So that will always be a priority. But I have to work, like everyone else, so I will find a way to balance.”

The mom of two – who debuted her post-baby slim-down in a figure-hugging Temperly London gown earlier this week – wore a red-hot Nina Ricci suit as she promoted her new film, which also stars Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz and Michael Fassbender.

Cameron Diaz's N.Y.C. Apartment: Tour the Posh Pad

Originally posted 09/04/2013 09:15AM

Cameron Diaz is as glamorous at home as she is on the red carpet.

Elle Décor visited the actress's chic 2,400-sq.-ft., pre-war New York City apartment for its October issue.

The home is a collaboration with interior designer Kelly Wearstler – once a judge on Bravo's Top Design – who appears alongside a casually dressed, barefoot Diaz, 41, in the spread.

Highlights of the tour include the star's bathroom, which features a regal-looking gold sink, a neutral-colored sitting room saturated with natural light, yellow accents and a high-heel shaped paperweight and a marble-topped vanity.
