It's like something out of a movie, or perhaps Michael Chabon's Telegraph Avenue: Two bandmates, separated by time and success, share a casual reconciliation on the streets of Oakland, Calif.

Marcus "The Magnificent" Malone played percussion for Carlos Santana's Santana Blues Band in the '60s, but a stint in prison forced him to leave the band shortly before they hit it big. As his former partners went from Woodstock to the Hall of Fame, Malone drifted from gig to gig, eventually becoming homeless.

As if it weren't already hot enough in Miami this time of year ... Collateral star Jamie Foxx dropped by the regular "secret society" party at nightspot Bed, a hip-hop club where VIPs are invited to lounge on – you guessed it – beds. While Florida Marlins pitcher Josh Beckett relaxed on a bed with a bevy of women, Foxx grabbed a microphone and sang along to hip-hop tunes like J-Kwon's "Tipsy." Rapper Timbaland joined Foxx, who worked the crowd well into the night, finally winding down and going back to his Bed bed at around 3 a.m.
