Carmen Electra briefly dated Simon Cowell earlier this year and remains close with The X Factor judge, so she has more insight than most on what kind of father he will be.
"As the person that I had the chance to see ... a very kind, sweet, funny person who really stands for the people he believes in and is their biggest supporter, I think he’ll be a fantastic father," Electra told PEOPLE at the 2013 Do Something Awards in Hollywood Wednesday of the man she dated from December 2012 to February 2013.

No, you are not dreaming.
Decidedly fulfilling the wishes of countless I Dream of Jeannie fans, Barbara Eden dusted off her genie garb for Saturday's Life Ball charity event in Vienna.
It's been more than 40 years since she hung up her then-controversial crop top and harem pants when the sitcom wrapped in 1970 after five seasons. But on Saturday, the actress, 78, even revisited that iconic braided 'do – to the delight of a few very special fans.

Don't look now – no, really, don't look – but Joe Jonas and Carmen Electra will be among the celebrities choosing ordinary people to date, sight unseen, on the upcoming Fox reality show The Choice.
The network has unveiled a list of 24 stars – 20 men and four women – who will compete for the hearts of attractive singles they can't see, in a show format that mirrors NBC's singing contest The Voice.
The other men include reality stars Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, and Rob Kardashian; model Tyson Beckford; pro football players Rob Gronkowski and Ndamukong Suh; and actor Dean Cain.

Carmen Electra and Rob Patterson have been engaged for nearly two years, but don't look for a wedding any time soon.
"We’re happy the way things are," she told PEOPLE last week at the Swagg VIP Kid Rock Concert at Las Vegas’s Hard Rock Hotel. "We’re not really putting that added, extra pressure on the relationship.
So will there ever be a wedding between her and the former Korn guitarist? "It’s possible," said Electra, 37, who has been married twice before. "If we decide that, then we will get married, but we’re just happy being together."

Jon and Kate Gosselin aren't the first reality stars to face marital problems. Although audiences love the unscripted TV couples, the constant scrutiny can put the brakes on "happily ever after." Here are a few couples whose marriages couldn't survive another season.
Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica
Aired: August 2003 to March 2005
Split: November 2005
Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey became household names by adjusting to married life after their 2002 wedding. In the 41-episode series, Simpson played the "dumb blonde" while Lachey was the longsuffering husband.
Simpson and Lachey announced their separation just eight months after the last episode aired on MTV. In the divorce filing, Simpson cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason behind the split. Lachey later told USA Today that the reality show was a factor in the decision. "Jessica and I began playing these parts even when we were by ourselves," he said of their roles. "It became a really blurred line. There was a question about what truly was our reality."
Since the split, Lachey has been dating Vanessa Minnillo. Simpson briefly dated John Mayer and is now seeing Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.

With one Playboy centerfold set to headline a topless Vegas show, another one is following to guest star in her own risque act in Sin City.
A rep for Crazy Horse Paris, the a topless cabaret show at MGM Grand, tells PEOPLE that Carmen Electra has signed on to star in a week's worth of shows in July.
"She's not going topless, but she will be wearing very little. She's going to wear whatever she is comfortable with," the rep says.
Carmen will star in the show in July – the same time Holly Madison will be baring her bosom across the Strip in her own show.

And the outpouring of support for Jessica Simpson continues!
"She's a gorgeous girl," Carmen Electra told PEOPLE Friday night at the 6th annual Leather & Laces Super Bowl Party in Tampa of her "good friend" Simpson. "A lot of women would die to look as good as she looks."
In fact, Electra believes much of the controversy surrounding Simpson, 28, and her curvier body can be chalked up to the outfit she was wearing the day she performed in Pembroke Pines, Fla.
