Originally posted 02/07/2013 02:10PM
The The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are keeping a low profile on their "babymoon" to the idyllic island of Mustique.
The couple – expecting their first baby in July – are staying at a five-bedroom villa set in lush gardens, which normally costs an eye-popping $25,000 a week. Also enjoying paradise are Kate's parents Carole and Mike and siblings Pippa and James.
On previous visits, William, 30, has stopped by to grab a drink and play the piano at the bar at Firefly, and together the couple have participated in Sunday night Karaoke at Basil's Bar.

"My father has developed this funny tradition of surprising us at some point by appearing in fancy dress," the Celebrate: A Year of Festivities for Families and Friends" author, 29, writes in the latest holiday edition of the political magazine The Spectator.

Kate's Severe Morning Sickness Could Be Hereditary
Originally posted 12/08/2012 11:15AM
Even duchesses can get the monster of all morning sicknesses.
Known as hyperemesis gravidarum (HG), the condition – for which Kate was hospitalized for four days – is characterized by debilitating nausea and vomiting that severely inhibits a woman's ability to eat or drink and results in significant weight loss. Affecting up to 2 percent of all pregnant women, it can start as early as five weeks into pregnancy and endure for weeks or even months.
The condition typically comes on suddenly. During a visit to her prep school, St. Andrew's, on Nov. 30, a seemingly upbeat Kate dined on Scottish beef and played field hockey in 3-inch heels. Just two days later, she was rushed to the hospital and her pregnancy announced.

Here comes the bride... and royal dad!
The Duchess of Cambridge made her first public appearance since returning from her Asia tour when her father Michael Middleton walked a close friend down the aisle at a wedding on Saturday.
Family friend Thierry Kelaart chose Michael to give her away at her country wedding on Saturday because her own father died nearly two decades ago.
The last time he'd carried out such a role was April 2011 when Kate wed Prince William on a spectacular day watched by millions.

Prince William Not Dipping into $16M Fortune – Yet
Originally posted 06/28/2012 01:45PM
His late mother Princess Diana may have left him more than $16 million for his 30th birthday last week, but Prince William is not about to dip into the fortune – at least, not to buy a home for himself and wife Kate.
And, despite some reports to the contrary, he also has no plans to help his in-laws, Michael and Carole Middleton, buy their $7 million dream manor house in Bucklebury, about 55 miles west of London.
With their purchase of the seven-bedroom property, complete with tennis court on its 18 acres, set to be completed, a royal source tells PEOPLE it is not true William is helping to fund any of it.

Royal Family Floats Down Thames for Queen's Jubilee Pageant
Originally posted 06/03/2012 12:55PM
In a spectacular display of royal pageantry, Queen Elizabeth was feted at a special river-born celebration Sunday when she and her family rode down the Thames through London.
In a scale that hasn't been seen for around 350 years, more than 1,000 boats created a magical flotilla along the river – with the Queen, 86, at its heart. She took her place on the 210-ft. Spirit of Chartwell royal barge, which was given a makeover and bedecked with 10,000 roses, carnations, sweet peas and red charm peonies for the cruise – the centerpiece of her Diamond Jubilee.
Helping welcome her aboard were her grandson Prince William and his wife Kate.
