The Sound of Music sounds suspiciously like the sound of snark.
Thursday night, the new version of Rodgers and Hammerstein's musical – which was later turned into the iconic 1965 movie starring Julie Andrews – aired live on NBC, with Carrie Underwood and True Blood's Stephen Moyer filling the shoes of Maria and Captain Von Trapp.
But, according to Twitter, the new Sound of Music wasn't really one of viewers' favorite things.
Everyone from Cameron Diaz to DiGiorno's Pizza got in the act, live-Tweeting commentary on the sets, costumes and, of course, how bad Nazis are (thanks for the insight, Cammie D!).
