Blame it on some high and hot footwear.
Carrie Underwood was a good sport after taking a nasty stage tumble on Thursday night in Corpus Christi, Texas, where she was performing in concert.
The American Idol alum, 30, Tweeted photos of her perfectly pedicured foot in a black walking brace as she made fun of the mishap, which occurred when her five-in. heels caught the hem of an extra-large shirt, sending her to her backside mid-song. Her fall comes just a week after her husband weathered his own strange foible – a chipmunk bite.

Animal lover Carrie Underwood thought she was doing the right thing when she got her husband, hockey player Mike Fisher, to rescue a chipmunk that had gotten into their house.
In a video she posted on Saturday, the Grammy winner showed her big brave hubby cornering the little critter in their bathroom.
"A squirrel got into our house," she said in the Vine clip, before being corrected by Fisher, 33, who told her it was a chipmunk. As he grabbed the animal to put it into a plastic container and take it outside, it began squealing, which prompted Underwood to plead, "Don't hurt it." Oh, the irony.

The hills are alive … especially at night.
Stephen Moyer, best known as the vampire Bill Compton on HBO's True Blood, will play Capt. Von Trapp to Carrie Underwood's Maria in the live, three-hour NBC production of the beloved Rodgers and Hammerstein musical The Sound of Music, to air Dec. 5, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Depending on how dedicated you are to the 1965 film version of The Sound of Music – which starred Julie Andrews as Maria and Christopher Plummer at the Captain – this may or may not be music to your ears.
English actor Moyer, 43, recently played the role of crooked lawyer Billy Flynn in a Hollywood Bowl production of the musical Chicago. Now he is set to portray the stern Austrian widower who falls for the bubbly governess of his seven children, to be played by Underwood, 30.
