Ed Westwick Calls Chace Rumors 'Amusing To Us'

Things have gotten a little more gossipy for Gossip Girl heartthrobs Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick – but then, the two guys know the territory.
"I just laugh them off," Westwick told PEOPLE about the discussions heating up the Internet – questioning the nature of his and Crawford's relationship.
"What are you going to do?" says Westwick. "People who know me and Chace and the cast know that we are all great friends. And that's the extent of it all. Those things that go around are just amusing to us, really."

Chace Crawford Reveals His Perfect Date

While Chace Crawford's Gossip Girl character Nate Archibald may hit all the New York hotspots, in real life the actor plays it cool – especially when it comes to first dates.
"The ideal, I think, when you're starting out, is something low-key, like playing the [Nintendo] Wii, ordering in pizza and then grabbing a beer," Crawford, 22, told PEOPLE at Wednesday's launch of the Stoli Hotel in Manhattan.
But come time to step out, the actor says he'd take off "to a concert in Central Park or an NBA basketball game, if she likes sports." (His teams of choice? "The Dallas Mavericks and the Dallas Cowboys – I'm a Texas kid!")

Chace Crawford Cheers On a Miss USA Beauty – His Sister

Surrounded by beauty queens at the Miss USA Pageant on Friday, Gossip Girls' Chace Crawford only had eyes for one woman: Miss Missouri.
Of course, Miss Missouri is Candice Crawford, Chace's sister, a 21-year-old blonde beauty who dazzled judges deep into the competition.
But despite a public endorsement from her famous brother, Candice Crawford fell short in her bid to become Miss USA in Las Vegas – that honor went to Miss Texas Crystle Stewart.
While the TV star wasn't wearing an oversized pin on his lapel like the rest of his family, Crawford's support was more vocal. When it was announced that
his younger sister made it to the Top 10, Crawford threw his arms in the air, stood up and shouted in celebration.

Carrie Underwood Reveals Text-Message Split from Chace

When Carrie Underwood and Chace Crawford split up, the couple called it quits digital style, says the country star.
"It was completely mutual," Underwood told Extra at the taping of Idol Gives Back. "We broke up over text so ... it's like 'peace out.' "
According to Underwood, the breakup wasn't a tearful confrontation, but a realization that the romance just wasn't meant to be between her and the Gossip Girl hunk. "It just didn't work," she said. "We both knew it didn't work and [had] no hard feelings at all whatsoever."

It's been a rough few weeks for Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford, who split with Carrie Underwood and had to endure online speculation about his sexuality.
"He's doing okay through this whole ordeal," his sister Candice told PEOPLE Wednesday. "He was upset about the breakup. It's always hard when you lose a relationship."
Still, his little sis added, don't expect to see Crawford and the American Idol champ moping around for long. "Chace will get through it," she said. "We love Carrie, too. They're dolls and they'll both do well."

Former 'N Sync star JC Chasez says he's sick of online speculation that he and Chace Crawford are more than friends.
"You know what, it's laughable the first time," he told PEOPLE at the live finale of Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew. "I think the tenth time, it gets annoying."

• Chace Crawford, shopping for DVDs at a Best Buy in Manhattan with Gossip Girl costar (and real-life roommate) Ed Westwick. Giving each other advice about what to buy, the two browsed the DVD aisle, as Crawford carried a huge stack of movies including Little Miss Sunshine. Westwick picked out No Country For Old Men before the two made their purchases.

The latest CosmoGIRL magazine is hitting stands with newly engaged mom-to-be Jessica Alba on the cover. Though she steers clear of any pregnancy details, the 26-year-old actress does hand out some motherly advice to young girls who are dating:
"Most guys, especially when they're younger, really are only after one thing," she says. "To all the girls out there, I don't want to say, 'Don't give your heart to somebody like that,' But wait at least a good year. You can be in a relationship and do some things, have fun, get to know each other – but don't give them everything.

Happy Anniversary, Carrie and Chace! Okay, okay, it wasn't actually their anniversary. But Carrie Underwood and Chace Crawford, who have been dating since October, certainly looked every bit the happy couple as they laughed and danced at Marquee nightclub's 4th Anniversary Party in NYC Thursday night.
The 22-year-old Gossip Girl star – who recently squirmed uncomfortably when Ellen DeGeneres flashed a picture of the couple – sipped bottles of Bud Light while cozying up with Underwood in a middle banquette.
