Newlywed Jenna Dewan Reveals Latest Passion – Cooking

She's getting ready for an upcoming film and a stint on Melrose Place, but Jenna Dewan is also keeping active off the set – in the kitchen.
"I'm really into cooking lately," the actress, 28, who tied the knot with Channing Tatum in July, tells PEOPLE. "I've been really passionate about it, so I've been learning some new dishes and getting into it."
What inspired the newlywed to learn how to whip up a few dishes? "We got a whole bunch of cooking accessories from the wedding," Dewan said Thursday at Stoli's Moskova Affair featuring a performance by the by the Vau de Vire Society dance troupe.

Though their honeymoon in Bali was cut short by a bout of food
poisoning, newlyweds Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan made sure to mark the occasion in a permanent way – with matching tattoos that spell out "side by side" in Balinese.
"It was a joint decision," Tatum, 29, told PEOPLE at a Los Angeles screening of G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. "We always wanted to get a tattoo of something together."

Channing Tatum's G.I. Joe Kept Under Wraps

Paramount Pictures wants Channing Tatum's fans to decide for themselves whether the actor's summer blockbuster, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, is worth seeing.
The studio has decided not to preview the film for most critics before Friday's opening, reports the Associated Press. Paramount says it doesn't want a repeat of what happened to its other summer blockbuster, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
"After the chasm we experienced with Transformers 2 between the response of audiences and critics, we chose to forgo opening-day print and broadcast reviews as a strategy to promote G.I. Joe," said Rob Moore, vice chairman of Paramount. "We want audiences to define this film."

Channing Tatum: Newlywed Life Is 'Perfect'

It's been less than a month since actor Channing Tatum tied the knot with his Step Up dance partner Jenna Dewan, and it seems the honeymoon period is far from over.
"I'm as happy as I possibly can be on the planet right now," the newlywed actor gushed to PEOPLE at the G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra premiere at Andrews Air Force Base in Camp Springs, Md. on Friday.
The actor – who sported a three-piece pinstriped suit for his rounds on the red carpet of his film – admits that being a married man feels "just as it has for the last four years we've been together." And that's a good thing!

Channing Tatum & Charlyne Yi Make Dirty Dancing Funny

No one puts Baby in the corner. And no one puts out a Dirty Dancing remake without spawning a Web spoof of the original.
In a five-and-a-half-minute MSN Cinemash short that sends up the classic boy-meets-girl-meets-Catskills-dancer tale, Channing Tatum (of G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and Charlyne Yi of Knocked Up) assume the roles that Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey made famous in 1987 – complete with hilarious '80s hair, sweaty male toplessness, and campy dialogue.
"I'm scared of being put in the corner, Johnny, and most of all I'm scared of walking out of this room and never feeling my whole life the way I feel when I'm with you," Yi whines passionately. "Dance with me."
And while they might not be quite as graceful as Swayze and Grey were at Kellerman's resort, they're definitely a lot funnier.

Channing Tatum has showed off his fancy footwork on film before, but now the hunky actor is trying out Patrick Swayze's iconic role in Dirty Dancing in a new Web-only series. PEOPLE.com has an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the shoot, which also stars the hilarious Knocked Up and Paper Heart actress Charlyne Yi. (Watch it here.)
Produced by Mean Magazine, the clip is just one of several episodes in which celebrities – including Will Arnett, Zooey Deschanel and Milo Ventimiglia – take on classic roles in short, rebooted versions of flicks like Sid and Nancy, Point Break and Carrie. The films will be released in full on Zune.com throughout the summer.
Tatum's full Dirty Dancing shoot will stream live beginning July 28.

Channing Tatum, who stars in next month's G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra, based on the popular toy line, shows off his action hero body in a sexy photo shoot for the August issue of GQ.
The actor, 29, says he got in shape for the shoot by adhering to a strict meal plan: "just chicken and broccoli and brown rice. Four times a day. And egg whites."
