Timothy Olyphant & Charlie Sheen Attend a Bowling Party in N.Y.C.
Originally posted 04/02/2012 05:55AM
Timothy Olyphant seems to prefer pigskins to bowling balls. The Justified star was overheard talking about football at the FX Upfront party at Lucky Strike in N.Y.C. Thursday – when he was supposed to be joining his castmates at their lane. The event featured talent from seven series on the network (most of whom wore matching bowling shirts with their show names for a star-studded tournament).
One FX star who didn't don the uniform? Charlie Sheen, who talked about his show Anger Management with reporters and mingled amiably in a corner. Elsewhere, Archer's Judy Greer chatted with pals by her show's lane, and Louis CK made the social rounds as well.
Guests sipped cocktails from two open bars and nibbled on passed hors d'oeuvres like mac and cheese bites early, followed by warm chocolate chip cookies after 10 p.m. – right around the time that Russell Brand popped in to promote his new late night show, Strangely Uplifting. (No sign of the Brit in bowling shoes, however!) – Rennie Dyball

Charlie Sheen No Longer Talking About 'Winning'

New show. New attitude. New Charlie Sheen?
"No one seems to want to remember," says the former Two and a Half Man star, now with a new FX series, Anger Management, referring to his headline-making rants of exactly a year ago, "they all talk about 'tiger blood' and 'winning' and everything. But no one talks about what I was so upset about."
Sheen, 46, directed his anger at the time against Two and a Half Men's executive producer, Chuck Lorre. The upshot was that the CBS sitcom – which once earned Sheen a record $1.25 million per episode – was recast with Ashton Kutcher.
