Chaz Bono is a changed man.
The LGBT activist showed off a much different side at Tuesday night's Dancing with the Stars's 300th anniversary celebration, compared to when he competed on the show in 2011.
"I'm feeling really good," the once-timid son of Cher told PEOPLE at the Boulevard 3-held event in Hollywood. "I'd love to do Dancing all over again. I'd do it much better now than I did it then."

"She never gave me and my sister [actress Georganne LaPiere Bartylak] advice because, truthfully, she knew we'd never take it," admits the iconic entertainer, 66. "Instead, we learned about life by listening to her talk about the things she did wrong and the things she did right." Holt's journey from a rural Arkansas girl to an aspiring starlet in Los Angeles is captured in Lifetime's May 6 one-hour special Dear Mom, Love Cher.
The intimate documentary will unleash the plucky 86-year-old onto the world – but her daughter isn't ready for her full pop culture immersion. "I won't allow her on Twitter," says Cher. "I have no filter, and neither does she!"

Someone's ready for the warmer weather!
Two months after revealing a 43-lb. weight loss in February, Chaz Bono is now down a total of about 60 lbs. and "still slowly losing," he told PEOPLE.
And the season 13 Dancing with the Stars contestant has not forgotten his ballroom days.
"I still enjoy dancing. I still take classes," Bono, 44, said of his exercise-of-choice at Saturday's 24th Annual GLAAD Media Awards. Also on his regimen: martial arts training.

Chaz Bono's 2013 has gotten off to a healthy start!
The former Dancing with the Stars contestant, 43, has already dropped 43 lbs. since announcing his public mission to lose 50 lbs. beginning in mid-November.
He's now upped his goal to dropping a total of 80 lbs.
"I've been sticking to a really strict diet," he tells PEOPLE. "It's not any type of starvation thing. I'm just cutting out a lot of stuff and eating primarily protein and vegetables and fruit."

The activist and former Dancing with the Stars contestant, 43, who has had an ongoing struggle with his weight, is making a public attempt to lose the pounds.
Sitting down with Dr. Travis Stork, The Doctors co-host and an ER physician, Bono says being thin in his family was "prized above all else" when he was growing up.

Chaz Bono to Play Himself on Degrassi

Chaz Bono is the latest celebrity to visit Degrassi.
The former Dancing with the Stars contestant and transgender activist stopped by the Toronto set of TeenNick's long-running drama, Degrassi: The Next Generation, Thursday to film scenes for an episode set to air in the fall. His role? Chaz Bono.
"I work with a transgender teen support group that is part of the organization Transforming Family," Bono says, "so when the opportunity to be part of a series that features a trans teen came up, I was thrilled."
In the guest spot – which Bono expressed interest in after meeting the Degrassi team at the 2011 Emmys – he'll play as a surprise celebrity judge for a Battle of the Bands style contest at the fictional Degrassi Community School.

Chaz Bono was in good company at the GLAAD Media Awards on Saturday night.
His mom Cher showed up to support her son at the event in Los Angeles.
"So much fun at Glaad awards!" the singer Tweeted. "I really surprised Chaz! HE was adorable,Said wow mom i was so surprised i forgot what i was going 2say!"
Bono, who was the first transgender contestant on Dancing with the Stars, was honored for his OWN documentary, Becoming Chaz, and with the Stephen F. Kolzak Award, which is given by GLAAD to a gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender entertainer for promoting equality.

Chaz Bono and his fiancée, Jennifer Elia, have called off their engagement and ended their relationship.
"They leave this relationship with great love, respect and affection towards one another," the couple's publicist, Howard Bragman, tells PEOPLE.
"No further amplification will be forthcoming and they ask that you respect their privacy at this time."
"Thanks for your concern about our separation," Bono, 42, Tweeted. "I'm doing fine, and we remain on good terms with nothing but respect and affection 4 each other."
