Originally posted 11/25/2011 07:00PM
Dancing with the Stars fans may have noticed that Chaz Bono had a special someone supporting him each week on the sidelines of the ballroom: his fiancée, Jennifer Elia.
Now on Being Chaz – a follow-up to the Emmy-nominated documentary Becoming Chaz, which highlighted Bono's transition from female to male – viewers will witness an intimate moment between the couple as Bono, 42, gives her an engagement ring in Seattle. (Watch a clip above.)
"It's gorgeous. Thank you so much," Elia says of the sparkler. "It's stunning. It's huge."
Cher: Chaz Is the 'Same Child, Different Wrapping'

Fresh off his elimination from Dancing with the Stars, Chaz Bono can rest assured that he still has one die-hard fan – his mom.
Cher, speaking by phone as Chaz was interviewed on Anderson Cooper's daytime talk show, Anderson, told the CNN anchor that she was upset with the judges' treatment of her son.
"I just thought they were rude," Cher, 65, told Cooper in the episode, which is set to air Tuesday. "And it was gratuitous rudeness, and I was just pissed off. I was just really upset. Not that Chaz was voted off, but that they were so disrespectful."

Chaz Bono Is Not 'Bitter or Angry' About Leaving Dancing with the Stars
Originally posted 10/26/2011 04:00PM
After a tough night on Dancing with the Stars Monday, Chaz Bono and partner Lacey Schwimmer were fired up.
The angry duo said the judges' comments were "disrespectful," and pointed in particular to the way Bruno Tonioli compared Bono to a penguin in his critique.
But on Tuesday, when the pair was eliminated from the competition, it sure seemed like Bono and Schwimmer had put any hard feelings behind them.
"I was quite angry last night," Bono, 42, told reporters backstage right after his dismissal. "But I feel really good today. I'm not leaving the show bitter or angry or anything. I'm grateful for Lacey and everybody I worked with on the show. It was a wonderful, life-changing experience. I'm so glad I did it."

Dancing with the Stars: Another Contestant Goes Home
Originally posted 10/25/2011 10:05PM
Monday night was rough for Dancing with the Stars partners Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Hope Solo.
Aside from earning a score of 20 and being ridiculed for performing their "worst dance of the season," Chmerkovskiy, 31, didn't exactly charm viewers with his negative outburst in response to the judges' criticism.
But even though the duo had a less than stellar night, they still performed one point higher than fellow competitors Chaz Bono and Lacey Schwimmer, who ended up at the very bottom of the leaderboard.
Were voters turned off by Chmerkovskiy's meltdown? Or did consistent low scorers Schwimmer and Bono bid the ballroom adieu?
Chaz Bono: Dancing Judges' Animal Comments Are 'Disrespectful'

Maksim Chmerkovskiy isn't the only one upset with the judges on Dancing with the Stars.
Chaz Bono and Lacey Schwimmer, who once again scored the lowest (with only 19 points) for their Phantom of the Opera tango, feel particularly wounded by the judges' use of animal comparisons in critiquing the couple.
Bruno Tonioli offered this reaction to their routine: "It was like watching a cute little penguin try to be a big, menacing bird of prey. "It has to be menacing, dark, dangerous, hypnotic ... like a panther stalking."

Maksim Chmerkovskiy Attacks the Judges on Dancing with the Stars
Originally posted 10/24/2011 10:20PM
He danced the rumba on Broadway night – then orchestrated a show-stopping fight.
Maksim Chmerkovskiy melted down Monday on Dancing with the Stars, railing against the judges – specifically Len Goodman – after receiving 20 out of 30 points for his routine with partner Hope Solo.
"Hope, I've never lost faith in you," Len said, after the dance to "Seasons of Love" from the musical Rent. "I always feel like there is so much there, and for some reason it hasn't come out."
Continued Goodman: "This is your worst dance of the season in my opinion."
But Maksim disagreed – and he didn't mince words.

Dancing with the Stars: Another Contestant Is Eliminated
Originally posted 10/18/2011 10:05PM
As the last two elimination episodes of Dancing with the Stars have proven, being at the top of the leaderboard doesn't necessarily equal safety from dismissal.
Monday night's lowest scoring couples – Carson Kressley and Anna Trebunskaya, Chaz Bono and Lacey Schwimmer and Nancy Grace and Tristan McManus – have consistently been placed in the bottom by judges, but have been saved each week by voters.
Did Tuesday night's episode send another unexpected couple home? Or were one of the three bottom-scoring couples given the boot?

Dancing with the Stars: Who Had the Highest Score?
Originally posted 10/17/2011 10:20PM
It was '80s night Monday on Dancing with the Stars, but did any of this season's contestants score a much-coveted perfect score: 30?
Not quite – but J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff came quite close, dancing their way to 28 points (and the top of the leader board) thanks to a sultry samba.
"You are like a shattering sex machine," Bruno Tonioli, who awarded the couple a perfect 10, told Martinez. "You're like a volcano!"
Last week's top-scorer, Ricki Lake, fell down a few notches this week, earning a total of 24 points for her foxtrot. "It didn't jell," Tonioli told her. And Len Goodman scolded, "Your footwork was a little hit and miss. Having said that, it wasn't your best dance, but it wasn't your worst."
