Chord Overstreet of Glee was so stunned by his celebrity crush, Sandra Bullock, that he was unable to introduce himself to her.
"I've actually never met her," Overstreet admitted on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Monday. "I saw her from a distance at one of these red carpet things and it was a little, a little bit like too scared to talk to her. She was that beautiful."
But when DeGeneres invited Overstreet, 24, to ask out the Gravity actress on camera, he jumped at the opportunity and pleaded for Bullock, 49, to answer him quickly.

Although Glee's Lea Michele admits it feels like "I've lost two people, Cory and Finn," the actress says the tribute episode to her on- and off-screen love Cory Monteith "was very therapeutic."
"We had a beautiful memorial for Cory in the auditorium, and some of the cast members sang and people spoke about him," a stoic Michele, 27, told TV Week Australia. "It only felt right that we would do the same thing for Finn."
But did the actress ever consider leaving the hit show after the tragic death of her former boyfriend, 31, in July?

For many, it was a decidedly un-gleeful morning in LA.
Less than two weeks after the shocking death of Cory Monteith, friends and costars of the actor, including his girlfriend Lea Michele, reunited for a memorial on the Paramount studio lot, where Glee's auditorium scenes are filmed.
Michele joined producer Ryan Murphy and costars including Kevin McHale and Darren Criss at the indoor/outdoor event where guests mingled, dined on buffet food and listened to Glee-appropriate tunes like "Good Vibrations" in Monteith's honor.

It was Ashley Greene's time to shine recently, at West Hollywood hotspot Chateau Marmont, where the Twilight star was celebrated for being on the cover of Nylon magazine's denim issue, wearing jean Element Eden "Idol" shorts.
Joined by other folks, including Chord Overstreet, Brent Bolthouse, stylist Johnny Wujek and the magazine's Editor-in-Chief Marvin Scott Jarrett, the actress "seemed in great spirits," an onlooker tells PEOPLE, adding, "She was mingling with guests."
Attendees at the fancy dinner fête were offered wedge salad, steak, fries, grilled branzino and corn polenta. And although the meal had bottles of vodka flowing, a different source says, "Ashley was not seen drinking."
Greene happily discussed fashion with media who stopped her for an interview, but questions related to the scandal between her costars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were not allowed by the actress's publicist.

New BFFs? Well, they definitely had a lot to discuss.
A pregnant Kristin Cavallari immediately made her way over to Jessica Alba and introduced herself at Conde Nast Traveler's Hot List party at the Hotel Bel Air in L.A. The two sat down together on a coach and started chatting, and Alba congratulated the reality star on her pregnancy as the ladies discussed motherhood.
Meanwhile, Emma Roberts and on-again beau Chord Overstreet brought the PDA – big time. The two were holding hands and kissing at the party.
