Kids' Choice Awards 2012 host Will Smith wasn't just blowing smoke when he said Saturday night's show would be the "best show ever."
As soon as Smith hit the stage he warned: "No one is safe from the slime." Especially not Oscar winner Halle Berry, who was the first celeb to get covered in the neon green sludge.
Also not immune to the show's slime-for-all was first-timer Chris Colfer. The Glee star was presenting with Heidi Klum when one of Nickelodeon's award blimps spewed into his unsuspecting face.

Boo! Glee's Chris Colfer and Ashley Fink faced their fears during a spin on the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride over the weekend. Colfer gripped his costar tightly throughout the ride – and was practically in her lap by the time the trip was over. He later Tweeted about the experience, writing, "That's the last time I ever let @Ashley_Fink convince me to go on a Haunted Hayride! I taught the 5-year-old next to me so many new words."
Also there to enjoy a scare? Lauren Conrad, Jamie-Lynn Sigler and some pals, who used glowsticks to light their way through a haunted maze, and Nikki Reed, who cozied up to fiancé Paul McDonald during a magic show. – Jessica Wedemeyer

Lea Michele and her Glee costars Jane Lynch, Chris Colfer and more – took in the scene at Fox and FX's post-Emmy bash at Fig & Olive in West Hollywood. Guests – such as first-time Emmy winner Margo Martindale and Modern Family's Ty Burrell and Jesse Tyler Ferguson – filled the restaurant and a massive tent next door and nibbled on Mediterranean-inspired food such as filet mignon, ratatouille, asparagus in olive oil, seafood paella and goat cheese gnocchi.

Between the conflicting casting news and subsequent cast comments, there seems to be more Glee drama in the headlines than in the halls of William McKinley High School.
But the show's executive producer, Ryan Murphy, is setting the record straight: No one was fired, and no one is leaving – only that was not the original plan.
Murphy says Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer, – who Murphy initially said were slated to graduate and end their run on the Fox series after the upcoming season – were actually in talks to star in a spin-off series, which has since been put on the backburner.

Despite recent reports that Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer were leaving Glee after the upcoming season, executive producer Brad Falchuk promised fans of Fox's musical sitcom that they haven't seen the last of Rachel, Finn and Kurt.
"It was never our plan or our intention to let them go," Falchuck said Sunday during a panel discussion at Comic-Con International in San Diego, reports Entertainment Weekly. "They are not done with the show after this season."

Chris Colfer has mixed emotions about leaving Glee after next season.
The actor says he learned of Kurt Hummel's fate – Glee's co-creator Ryan Murphy announced several principal actors would be "graduating" – only recently via Twitter.
"I didn't necessarily know that it was going to be our last season next year," he tells Access Hollywood. "I knew something like that was coming up eventually. I mean, we can't be there forever."

There are bound to be some new faces at William McKinley High School as some of Glee's most recognizable voices prepare to graduate at the end of the next season.
After it was announced Wednesday that Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer won't be returning for season 4 of Fox's hit series – a decision made by show creator Ryan Murphy to preserve the integrity of the show – the club's leading lady reached out to fans, in true Rachel Berry fashion.
"We always knew we'd graduate in real time. It's all part of the plan and it's all good!" the actress Tweeted. "To Gleeks everywhere, you're in my heart now and forever. Love u all!"

Glee stars Lea Michele, Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith will don caps and gowns at the end of the fall season and won't be returning for the fourth season.
Other characters also will be graduating from high school and their identities will be revealed in the Sept. 20 premiere, Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy tells The Hollywood Reporter.
"We made that decision and I involved Chris and Lea and they thought that was a good idea," says Murphy. "They both trust the writing and trust me and felt that it would be great to have an open and closed experience for them to go out while they were on top."

Before hitting the beach with fiancé Eric Johnson back on the west coast, Jessica Simpson was in Chicago enjoying some of the Windy City's most popular eateries. First up: the Paris Club, a trendy French restaurant where Simpson shared sweet moments with Johnson and laughed with a group of friends. The party also enjoyed 10 signature menu items, including goat cheese au gratin and coq au vin during their leisurely three-hour meal. The following night, it was off to nearby Hub 51, this time with a group of 15, where the happy couple stole kisses at the table as they sampled an array of dishes (spicy tuna rolls, chicken enchiladas and lemon icebox pie). Says an onlooker of the couple: "Eric even carried Jessica's designer bag while she was getting up to leave the table."
