Fifty Shades of Grey: Who Should Play Christian Grey?

E L James may be a self-professed "control freak" about the process of bringing her erotic trilogy to movie theaters. But the author may want to take note of her rabid fan base – and just which actor they envision on the big screen.
The not-safe-for-work novel Fifty Shades of Grey is sitting pretty atop multiple best-seller lists, and women everywhere are talking about its protagonist, Anastasia Steele, and her troubled, controlling man, 27-year-old multi-millionaire Christian Grey. And after a Da Vinci Code-esque bidding war, Universal Studios and Focus Features came out on top and will release the film adaptation.
While Christian Bale (circa American Psycho) and Michael Fassbender (of Shame fame) immediately come to mind (as do Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, for obvious reasons), PEOPLE.com readers – and our staff! – also had plenty of suggestions.
Which actor could best embody the young and "very attractive," tall, finely dressed character with "unruly dark-copper-colored hair and intense, bright gray eyes"?

• Drew Barrymore and Justin Long braved the L.A. downpour to grab some lunch at Bay Cities Italian Deli in Santa Monica, Calif. And the rain didn't affect Barrymore's typically sunny attitude. "Drew was hugging people while she and Justin were at the counter ordering their sandwiches," an onlooker tells us. "Fans were so excited to see them." The actress kept it casual, in jeans and a men's green, oversized coat – and was soaked from the rain. On the way out, the pair chatted with the manager and some more fans before making a run for it.

Though they kept things private while dating this fall, Star Trek star Chris Pine and actress Olivia Munn have ended their romance, PEOPLE has confirmed.
The two kept their distance at the NY Times Style Magazine's Golden Globes cocktail party on Friday at the Chateau Marmont penthouse in West Hollywood. A source later told PEOPLE they've split up.
Munn and Pine, both 29, appeared cozy just two weeks ago, when they were spotted at The Woods in L.A., sipping cocktails and giggling together in the dimly-lit bar.
