Cats aren't usually fans of water, and neither is Chris Pratt – at least when the water is hot.
The Moneyball actor faced criticism this week after posting a series of Tweets about finding a new home for his senior cat, Mrs. White. He responded, this time with more than 140 characters, with a post on his blog titled, "A message to all the 'cat people' on twitter flipping out cause I gave up our cat for adoption."

What's a guy with 53,000 Twitter fans to do when his really senior cat gets to be too much? If you're Chris Pratt, you leverage that social media clout to find her a new home.
The comic actor, starring on small screens in Parks & Recreation and on big ones in Moneyball, shares a "19-or-so"-year-old cat with wife Anna Faris. The feline, Mrs. White, had once enjoyed a show business career herself, starring in Stuart Little as Snowbell, and after she grew old and retired, Faris adopted her.
Now it seems Mrs. White needs a new place to call home. "Anyone in the LA area want a cat?" Pratt wrote Monday on Twitter. "Full disclosure, she's old and prone to accidents. So sweet though."

Anna Faris and Chris Pratt are focusing on their careers for now, but when the time comes to have kids, the married actors will probably have more than a few.
"We would love to have kids someday," the What's Your Number star, 34, told PEOPLE recently as her husband, who plays Andy on Parks and Recreation, 32, stood at her side and nodded in agreement.
"We want a family for sure. Chris wants a big family."

This fall's hottest, funniest, sweetest actor stepping up to the plate and generating the most buzz with critics and moviegoers? Is it Brad Pitt … or could it be Chris Pratt?
Best known as the lovable goofball Andy the shoe shiner on NBC's Parks and Recreation, Pratt, 32, is earning rave reviews for his portrayal of former Oakland A's baseball player Scott Hatteberg in the Oscar contender Moneyball.
Discovered by a director while waiting tables in Maui at the age of 19, the Seattle-area native next stars opposite real-life wife Anna Faris in the romantic comedy What's Your Number, in theaters on Friday.
