Instead of fireworks, Christina Milian's Fourth of July was filled with goodbyes.
In June, Milian updated her followers on her Cane Corso's health, writing on Twitter that she was "Chillin' in the emergency pet vet parking lot. Something's wrong w my dog SheRah so brought her in tonight."
SheRah, who loved back rubs from Milian and posing with the singer during photoshoots, did not live with the pain much longer, and succumbed to cancer this week.

She often sings about relationships. But, for now, Christina Milian's only singing about love, rather than falling in love, because her dating life is virtually non-existent. And that's exactly how she wants it.
"I'm staying single for a long time," she told PEOPLE Saturday at Tao Las Vegas's 5-year anniversary party. "There is no man in my life and I'm staying single. No dating, no nothing. I love being single."
Since having a child and later splitting with rapper-producer The Dream, Milian, 29, said she hasn't dated. It's a world she's really never really known.

When The-Dream was recently photographed being straddled by his assistant, his soon-to-be-ex-wife Christina Milian may actually not have been so shocked.
That's because the rapper-producer, born Terius Nash, actually filed divorce papers in February – months before then-wife Christina Milian gave birth to their daughter Violet. The papers, which were obtained by TMZ, also says the couple was separated even prior to the filing.
The reason for the separation? "The marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken," the papers state. "There is no hope for reconciliation."

The-Dream admits his marriage to Christina Milian isn't just on the rocks, it's over – and they "failed."
"Even though we were trying to overcome personal things between us, I was just simply scared and embarrassed to let everyone know we WERE FAILING and HAVE NOW FAILED!" the rapper-producer, 32, writes on his Web site.
"If there's anyone to blame," he writes, "please blame me and me alone for not being upfront!"

Christina Milian's life with The-Dream is turning into a nightmare.
After photos surfaced of the music producer, 32, sans wedding ring, being straddled on a Caribbean vacation by his female assistant, new mom Milian, 28, took to her Twitter: "Whatever you think, believe it," she wrote.
There was already trouble brewing after Milian's husband of 10 months told Essence magazine that he doesn’t go out of his way to help Milian raise their 5-month-old daughter Violet.
