Christina Ricci's happy secret has been confirmed – she's engaged!
The actress, 32, who has been wearing ring finger bling since October, is headed to the altar with James Heerdegen.
Heerdegen is a camera technician and met Ricci when the two were working on ABC's former TV series Pan-Am. Their relationship was first public last February.
Ricci most recently stepped out (and showed off her ring!) Friday to join luxury beauty brand, Make Up For Ever, in Los Angeles to introduce a limited edition bag she helped to design.

Christina Ricci gushed about her Bel Ami costar, who plays a womanizing Parisian in the drama, saying working with the Twilight hunk was her favorite part of the filming process.
"He's a sweet guy and super funny," Ricci, 30, tells InStyle. "And a really good kisser."

Christina Ricci and her comedian boyfriend Owen Benjamin have ended their engagement, sources tell PEOPLE.
"Owen had a birthday party this past Sunday, and everything seemed fine. Sometime after, they got into a fight and decided to reevaluate things. [Then] the engagement was off," says a source close to the couple.
Another source close to the actress says the pair called off the engagement before last week. "They really are still close," adds the source. "They talk almost every day. It was a very mature decision and they both felt good about it. They're definitely still friends."

Christina Ricci and her comedian boyfriend Owen Benjamin will tie the knot, the actress's rep tells PEOPLE.
Ricci, 29, met Benjamin on the set of their film All's Faire in Love last year and went public with their relationship in October. Most recently, they were spotted cozying up at the Nobu West Hollywood's one-year anniversary party last week.
Ricci, who previously dated actor Adam Goldberg, told UK's Tatler as far back as May 2007 that she was ready to "settle down" though was worried about the fuss of a wedding. " I just want to be married, or just engaged," she said. "Basically, I just want a ring. And the tax break."

Jessica Biel has found a new No. 1 fan in Christina Ricci.
The 5-foot-tall actress – who had to fill out a pair of barely-there hot pants for her upcoming role in Speed Racer, directed by The Matrix's Andy and Larry Wachowski – is full of praise for Biel's famously fit physique.
"I asked my trainer, 'Can you give me Jessica Biel's butt?'" the actress – who starred with Biel's beau Timberlake in last year's Black Snake Moan – tells the U.K. edition of Elle. "I want a bigger butt."
Alas, because of her tiny frame, "they said I couldn't," she laments. "Everyone wants what they can't have!"

Reese Witherspoon and Christina Ricci have similar outlooks on dealing with very different struggles – just let it go.
In addition to producing and acting in the new flick Penelope, Witherspoon, 31, is also juggling single-motherhood. She tells the Associated Press that cutting herself some slack is the only way to get through.
"I feel like you are always in that negotiation with yourself: How much time at work? How much time at home? And I think you have to give up to the fact that you're never going to totally get it right, but you're never going to totally get it wrong, so if you just let yourself off the hook a little bit it helps a lot," the mom of Eva, 8, and Deacon, 4, said.
Penelope star Ricci, on the other hand, lets pesky photographers off the hook, saying, "In terms of paparazzi or Internet blogs that are mean to you, you just have to do your best to ignore them."

Speed Racer's new Trixie says she gets plenty of thrills at the track – with only a 1-horsepower engine.
"I've learned to love gambling," Christina Ricci told PEOPLE at the grand opening party for the Palazzo Las Vegas. "I was in Australia for a few months and gambling is like a national pastime there, so I learned to love betting on horses, and now I even put in a few football bets and I'm kind of obsessed and into it. Gambling is pretty good."
Thursday night, blackjack was her game of choice. When she wasn't sitting on her boyfriend's lap, Ricci was doubling down and splitting aces with Angie Harmon, her hubby Jason Seyhorn and Jerry O' Connell.
Ricci, 27, seemed to find a way to win at Palazzo's blackjack tables. Horse racing was another matter.
"I have no strategy (with horses) and I never pick winners," she says. "But it's still fun."
