Trick or Treat? For Kate Hudson's annual costume party at her Pacific Palisades home, it was all treats and costumed celebrities.
The actress's abode was transformed with pumpkins, spider webs, witches and even severed heads hanging from the trees. In the backyard, "the pool was covered and made into a dance floor," says a guest.

He may be wracking up the gold medals – but swimmer Michael Phelps is also earning plenty of phrase from his superstar fans.
"I'm rooting for Michael Phelps along with the rest of the world," supermodel Cindy Crawford told reporters Thursday during a press conference in Beijing.
There to check out the games, she also said she and Phelps, who's won six gold medals so far in Beijing, actually go way back.
"I'm friendly with Michael Phelps," she said. "We met four years ago when he was just trying out for his first Olympics. And to see how far he's come ... He was a kid and now he's just so much more poised and handling the pressure so well."

Talk about a perfect vacation: George Clooney is cruising the Mediterranean with one of the world's most famous supermodels – who brought along her husband and children.
Clooney is spending his mid-summer with Cindy Crawford, her husband (and Clooney pal) Rande Gerber and their two children, Presley, 8, and Kaia, 6.
Not only is this the second year in a row that the adult trio have cruised together, but the world's most eligible bachelor also sometimes provides his babysitting services – as well as his barbecuing talents.

Cindy Crawford did her patriotic – and familial – duty this weekend: helping raise awareness of pediatric cancer at a medical facility that had treated her younger brother.
In the '70s, the supermodel's sibling, Jeff, was a patient at University of Wisconsin Children's Hospital (now the American Family Children's Hospital in Madison. Tragically, however, he died of leukemia in 1975, shortly before his fourth birthday.
Despite the loss, Crawford believes her brother received the best care possible, which has launched her long commitment to the institution and its programs.
