Cisco Adler: 'I Like Smart Women'

When it comes to potential girlfriends, Cisco Adler is all talk.
"I'm a conversationalist. So if they can't go very far, we're not going to go very far," Adler told PEOPLE Saturday night at new Manhattan nightspot Country Club. The singer-producer was in the Big Apple celebrating the birthday of fellow Warped Tour artist Travis McCoy, of Gym Class Heroes.
"I like smart women," says Adler, Mischa Barton's former boyfriend. "I don't always find them, but I like them."

Cisco Adler is on the move – literally. The singer and his band, Whitestarr, performed atop a moving truck on Hollywood Boulevard recently to promote the new Hard Rock hotel and condos in San Diego. And even though Adler's girlfriend, Mischa Barton, wasn't in the curbside audience, the rocker insists they're doing fine. "I read (tabloids) and I'm like, 'We're on the rocks today, babe. Did you know that?' " he tells us. "She's just a great girl, all around. Besides all the bull–, it's like, just strip it down and you'll see what a real person is, especially behind closed doors."
