After the premiere of his new film Dead Man Down on Tuesday, Colin Farrell joined his castmates and friends at Lexington Social House in Hollywood.
Dressed in a Dolce & Gabbana suit, Farrell mingled with the cast and moviegoers for two hours.
"They complimented him on his performance," an onlooker tells PEOPLE. "He was in great spirits."
The actor sipped on diet soda as he kicked back and lounged around the outdoor fire pit.
The movie – a crime drama set in New York City – also stars Terence Howard, Noomi Rapace and Dominic Cooper.

There are reboots and there are remakes. The difference is subtle – and probably entirely semantic – but key. Reboots give beloved franchises new energy. (Think: Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy.) Remakes are ill-conceived, often cynical attempts to cash in on a film that worked before.
Total Recall is a remake.
Instead of a fun, wild trip to Mars, like in the 1990 original starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, this Recall – starring Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel – is set right here on Earth – though a dystopian version that's left much of the planet uninhabitable after world wars. What remains are the upper class United Federation of Britain and the depressing, rainy, blue-collar Colony (a.k.a. Australia).

Oscar night celebrated some of the best movies of the past year. But are you ready for the greatest film ever made?
Jimmy Kimmel put together this amusing teaser for Movie: The Movie – his tongue-in-cheek attempt at making the most star-studded, spectacular film America has ever seen. Or at least, the trailer for it.
The stars are almost too numerous to count – Best Actress winner Meryl Streep, George Clooney, Tom Hanks, Charlize Theron, Matt Damon, Cameron Diaz, John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Colin Farrell and the list goes on and on, while the plot is too hilariously clichéd to be believed.

Oprah Winfrey is not the only big star staying up late after the Oscars next Sunday. PEOPLE has learned that there are even more celebrities joining Jimmy Kimmel's seventh post-Oscar special!
Jessica Biel, new dad (again) Jason Bateman, JJ Abrams, Steven Tyler, Tyler Perry, Edward Norton, Colin Farrell and Ryan Philippe are on board for the show's big bit "Movie the Movie."
Given the show's history, it's promising – even if Samuel L. Jackson has choice words for those potentially involved (ABC previously announced Meryl Streep, George Clooney and Tom Hanks.) Check out a very bleeped teaser here: Moviethemovie.com.
It should come as no surprise that the skit will push the envelope. Kimmel's annual special has produced LOL-worthy comedy pieces in the past including "F*@#ing Ben Affleck," "Handsome Men's Club," "Hottie Body Hump Club" and "Tom Hanks's Toddlers in Tiaras".

Joke's on whom? Christopher Walken kept his table entertained at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, playing to a group that included Colin Farrell, Sam Rockwell and Tom Waits. A few of the guys split several bottles of red wine and a few cups of coffee, holding court on the patio from 8:30 p.m. until midnight. As the party wound down, Rockwell and Walken left the venue together, and made plans to hang out again soon. – Jennifer Garcia

Think you have an overbearing boss? You don't know the half of it.
Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell and Kevin Spacey play the world's worst supervisors in the upcoming comedy Horrible Bosses – so bad that their employees, played by Charlie Day, Jason Sudeikis and Jason Bateman, plot to kill them, with disastrous results.
The first trailer is Hangover-esque in its mayhem – and even a little bit racy as Aniston strips down to her bra and panties as a sexually harassing boss. Plus there's slapstick as the bumbling trio hire Jamie Foxx to help them take out their managers.

Rihanna is newly single after splitting from baseball pro Matt Kemp, but she isn't moving on to Colin Farrell.
Reports circulated that the singer, 23, and actor, 34, were dating after they were both spotted at an L.A. restaurant on Wednesday night – and a source says they weren't there together.
"They are not dating," the source tells PEOPLE. "It was absolute coincidence they were at Giorgio Baldi at the same time. Colin was there at a business dinner and Rihanna was across the room."

Colin Farrell quietly split from his actress girlfriend Alicja Bachleda several months ago, a source confirms to PEOPLE.
The two are parents to a son Henry Tadeusz Farrel, who was born last year. Farrell is also dad to 7-year-old son, James, with model Kim Bordenave.
Bachleda, 27 and Farrell, 34, met on the set of last year's Ondine, which they costarred in. At the premiere, Bachelda told PEOPLE of their romance: "We were very professional and focused on our part and our jobs. The story itself is so beautiful … we really didn't have time to get our true emotions [on screen]."

After keeping their romance on the down-low for about a year – and even welcoming a son – Colin Farrell and girlfriend Alicja Bachleda made a rare public appearance together in New York for Wednesday's Tribeca Film Festival premiere of their movie Ondine.
The movie is a love story between an Irish fisherman (Farrell) and a mermaid (Bachleda) – and at the opening night, from the red carpet to the Aveniu Wines-sponsored after-party at Soho's Beba restaurant, the couple avoided any outward public displays of affection. Instead, they chatted with those around them.
"We met on the set, and we were very professional and focused on our part and our jobs," said the Mexican-born, Polish actress Bachleda, 26. "The story itself is so beautiful … we really didn't have time to get our true emotions [on screen]."

It's a boy for Colin Farrell and girlfriend Alicja Bachleda.
The couple, who costar in the upcoming film Ondine, welcomed son Henry Tadeusz Farrell on Oct. 7 in Los Angeles, a rep for the actor tells PEOPLE.
Henry is the first child for Bachleda, 26, and the second for Farrell, who has a 6-year-old son, James, with model Kim Bordenave.
Confirming the pregnancy to PEOPLE in September, Farrell, 33, said he was looking forward to "everything" about parenthood. "I will take it as it comes. Even changing dirty diapers."
