Though she's now known for her provocative Tweets and controversial marriage to an actor 35 years her senior, Courtney Stodden was just a typical teen, newly unearthed photos show.
Stodden, an aspiring singer, married Lost actor Doug Hutchison in May, when she was 16 and he was 51.
In one high school photo, published by Britain's Daily Mail, Stodden, now 17, posed in a modest black sweater wearing her hair in a side ponytail.
It's a far cry from the blonde bombshell's current look, which consists of big hair, heavy makeup and barely-there outfits.
