What's For Dinner? Try Curtis Stone's Spaghetti Recipe
Originally posted 04/09/2013 12:45PM
Curtis Stone's new cookbook What's For Dinner? Delicious Recipes for a Busy Life is designed to help make meal time easy, fun and tasty despite everyone's hectic schedules. And the Aussie chef and host of Top Chef Masters certainly knows about that challenge from first-hand experience.
"Our lives are so varied," Stone says about life in L.A. with his fiancée, actress Lindsay Price, and their son Hudson, 14 months. "The only thing that's constant is there is no consistency."
Which makes the few quiet traditions they have that much more meaningful. One of Stone's favorite rituals is their post-day hangout. "When we get home from work, Lindsay and I sit at the kitchen bar and have a glass of wine," says Stone. "Hudson will sit and have a snack while we reflect on our day. It's pretty special."

In the Kitchen with Celebrity Chef Curtis Stone
Originally posted 03/08/2013 03:50PM
Curtis Stone's culinary routine has changed a lot since he became a dad.
For starters, in the morning, instead of heading straight for the coffeemaker, the Aussie chef's first stop – around 5:30 a.m. – is his 14-month-old boy Hudson's room. "We always have 'brekkie' together," says Stone. "He loves sitting in the kitchen sink while I cut up different fruits."
During the meal, Stone likes to teach his son some dance moves ("Gangnam Style" is currently their go-to song) while trying to broaden the boy's palate. "Most mornings Hudson asks for an apple, but I'll make sure they're not always in sight, so he'll try something else, like pears," says Stone, who hosts Bravo's Top Chef Masters. "I try to vary it every day. I can't wait to keep teaching him more about food."

His son Hudson may have been born in the United States, but Curtis Stone is making sure his baby boy gets a taste of Dad's home country early on.
The Around the World in 80 Plates host and girlfriend Lindsay Price were spotted in Sydney with their 5-month-old son on Tuesday, where the chef was promoting sustainable seafood on the area morning shows.
Although Stone, 36, has called fatherhood "exhausting," he only needs to recall his son's delivery (which the chef almost missed!) to remember what it's all about.
