NEW SHOWSWatch It: Kidnapped (NBC, 10 p.m. ET) A drama about an abducted kid isn't a fresh idea, and it's certainly not a nice one, but NBC's new series does a compellingly swift job of introducing us to the world of Manhattan's super-elite and then yanking the Persian rugs out from under their pretty feet. In the premiere, a zillionaire's son (Will Denton) is kidnapped on the way to school, leaving Daddy and Mommy (Timothy Hutton and Dana Delany) quietly reeling as their lives are invaded by both the FBI and a private investigator (Jeremy Sisto, wearing stubble to indicate that he's too proud to play by the rules). Taut and elegantly sinister.
