For Hollywood, Super Bowl weekend is one big party, and they don't disappoint.
On Saturday night, Lil Wayne performed at a GQ, Lacoste and Mercedes-Benz hosted party at the Elms Mansion in New Orleans. Among the fans on hand was model Kate Upton, who posed for photos in front of her GQ cover and stood on a couch to get a better view of Lil Wayne's show, an onlooker tells PEOPLE.
Even Paul McCartney and wife Nancy Shevell were spotted "rushing through the backstage area to catch the end of his performance," the source adds.

David Arquette and Courteney Cox may be in the middle of a divorce, but you'd never know it by the way they speak about each other.
Following Cox's confession on The Ellen DeGeneres show last week – "He's my best friend in the world," she said, "I love him" – Arquette, 41, says the feeling is mutual.
"She's incredible," he told PEOPLE Saturday at the Art of Elysium Sixth Annual Heaven Gala in L.A., where he was honored and was accompanied by girlfriend Christina McLarty. "I love her, too, and she's an amazing person, a beautiful person."

The romance didn't work out for Courteney Cox and David Arquette, but the Cougar Town star still has plenty of love for her ex – as a friend.
"He's my best friend in the world," the actress says on an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show airing Monday. "I love him."
Months since the former couple both filed divorce papers citing irreconcilable differences in June, Cox says, "I appreciate David more now than I ever did. I mean ... it's hard. I don't recommend divorce in general, but, you know, he is my best friend and we've both grown and changed."

Chicago got a taste of Hollywood over the weekend, as stars made their way to the Windy City for the Lollapalooza music festival, where a slew of acts performed, including Red Hot Chili Peppers, Florence + the Machine, Kaskade and Avicii.
Jenny McCarthy, who has been spending a lot of time there with her Chicago Bears beau Brian Urlacher, skipped the festival itself, but took part in some festivities, sans her man.
Arriving at the Gilt City Better than Backstage rooftop brunch, the Playboy cover girl – clad in a pair of M2F Brand Denims and sky high platform shoes – nibbled on veggies and dip, and took in the skyline.
"She looked very happy and seemed really excited to meet Chicagoans at the party," an onlooker tells PEOPLE.

James & Kimberly Van Der Beek Hit West Hollywood's Newest Nightclub

Taking a break from daddy and mommy duty, James and Kimberly Van Der Beek headed out to West Hollywood on Tuesday night to check out a special V.I.P. night at L.A.'s newest nightclub, Bootsy Bellows.
The lovey-dovey duo popped into the venue with a few male pals, and the group was immediately escorted to a private area in the back that was accessible to people with wristbands only.
"They had a table to themselves complete with alcoholic beverages and mixers," an onlooker tells PEOPLE. "The group seemed really close-knit and comfortable with each other. At the beginning of the night, James and Kimberly were sitting next to each other, but as it went on, James scooted over to talk to his guy friends and Kimberly seemed to blend in perfectly with the rest of the group."
Of the happily married pair, the source says they "didn't really show any PDA," but they just "seemed really cozy and happy to be together."
At one point, a woman walked around carrying a bag of candy and light-up plastic rings, and Kimberly went for a sweet treat.
"She took a long gummy worm and started eating it," says the observer. "She made it look very yummy."
The new spot, co-owned by David Arquette – who was also on hand that night, dressed dapper in a suit – opens to the public on June 29.

David Arquette Puts Final Touches on His New Nightclub

David Arquette's latest project is finally about to come full circle.
The Scream star was recently spotted overseeing the completion of his new nightclub, Bootsy Bellows, which is set for a June 29 grand opening in West Hollywood.
"David looked really good and looked like he was in good health," a source tells PEOPLE of the actor, who was seen standing in the new venue's doorway. "He didn't look as skinny as before. He looked like he'd put on a few healthy pounds."
Adds the insider, "At one point, a random person walked by and yelled, 'Lookin' good,' at David."
Of the venue, also co-owned by h.wood group's John Terzian, the source describes it as having "a funky vibe inside."
Taking over the space of former hotspot Trousdale, the spot was frequented by Ryan Phillippe, Ashley Greene, Derek Hough and stars of The Hills.

Courteney Cox Files for Divorce

Courteney Cox and David Arquette's divorce appears to be as amicable as can be.
The actress filed divorce papers on the same day as Arquette's June 8 filing in Los Angeles Superior Court. Cox's filing, which surfaced the day after her ex's papers, cites the same reason for the split and requests the same custody arrangement.
Like Arquette, Cox, 47, cites irreconcilable differences and seeks joint legal and physical custody of their 8-year-old daughter Coco.
Cox, who also requests to drop "Arquette" from her last name, is representing herself without lawyer, just like her former significant other.

David Arquette and Courteney Cox's marriage is one step closer to being over.
The actor, 40, has filed for divorce from Cox, 47, in Los Angeles Superior Court. The couple announced their separation in Oct. 2010.
Arquette – who cites irreconcilable differences in court documents filed on June 8 and obtained by PEOPLE – is asking for joint legal and physical custody of their daughter Coco, who turns 8 on Wednesday.

Megan Fox, hubby Brian Austin Green and his son Kassius recently had a little family outing – but it was Fox who reaped the benefits of the leisurely day.
The reportedly pregnant actress got a manicure at Bellacures in Studio City, Calif., while Green and his son chatted in the back of the salon. Using OPI, she had her nails colored with their Pedal Faster Suzi shade.
But leaving the pampering to Fox didn't seem to faze the males because an onlooker tells PEOPLE, "They [seemed like they] had a great time just relaxing and hanging out together."
The source says the trio passed on any food or drinks, but Fox "did not [appear to] have a baby bump at all."
