Things got a little bit spicy at Victoria Beckham's birthday celebration over the weekend.
Beckham, who turned 40 on April 17, reunited with three of her fellow Spice Girls alumni as she marked the milestone Sunday night at London's Arts Club.
Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) and Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice) joined their Posh bandmate (with husband David Beckham) for the festivities, which were also attended by Chris Martin and Guy Ritchie, reports the U.K.'s Daily Mail. Soccer fans (and the women of Miami) received some good news Wednesday – David Beckham is officially launching an MLS soccer team in the city.
Calling the opportunity "a dream," Beckham told a news conference that he chose Miami because it was a "vibrant" city where he was "looking forward to spending a lot of time here with my wife and family."
The first order of business is building a stadium. "We don't want public funding," says the frequently shirtless sports icon and star of underwear ads. "We will fund the stadium ourselves."
"The people of Miami deserve a stadium they can be proud of," he says, adding he plans to create a kids soccer academy. "It's all about nurturing talent."
