The How I Met Your Mother star's adorable dog scored a hug from Oprah Winfrey when she stopped by the actor and partner David Burtka's home to shoot a program for the OWN Network.
"Neil Patrick Harris, David Burtka, their dog Watson and me in their backyard," Winfrey wrote about the photo she shared on Facebook Wednesday. "Interview for Next Chapter."

Katy Perry performed her first U.S. concert since splitting from hubby Russell Brand in Indianapolis, Ind., Saturday night, delivering a party-starting nine-song set for guests at the DIRECTV Super Saturday Night Hosted by Mark Cuban and Peyton Manning.
And the pop star seemed to have Super Bowl fever: Sporting a glittery, football-themed top and high-cut grey spandex shorts, Perry kicked off the show at 11:45 p.m. by bursting through a banner emblazoned with her name, just like a hometown gridiron hero.

Neil Patrick Harris and his partner David Burtka's kids Gideon and Harper may only be 15-months-old – but that doesn't impact the way the actor talks to them. It's a parenting tip he says he picked up from his own mom and dad.
"My parents always talked to my brother and myself like we were regular people and not babies," Harris tells PEOPLE. "So I don't talk down to them in baby talk. I try to talk to them even though they can't speak the language yet."
As for their personalities, Harris says, "They're thankfully in the new huggy, clingy, head-on-shoulders phase, which is fantastic. It'll brighten up a sad day every single time."

Having twins is daunting. But Neil Patrick Harris says it's been nothing but a blessing for him and David Burtka.
"I love watching them learn to understand language. And watching them interact with each other is fantastic," the actor, 38, and father to 15-month-old fraternal twins Gideon and Harper, tells Parade.
Having each other also gives the twins a natural companion, and someone to explore the world with, Harris adds.

That's what Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka offer in Out magazine's annual Love Issue, posing for some intimate photos while ruminating on the ups and downs of their relationship.
"There's something kinetic about him and his being. He's classically sexy, yet he's very much a boy in his energy. It's a great dynamic," Harris, 38, writes of Burtka, 36, in the piece, which includes a photo of the couple lounging in bed.

Neil Patrick Harris and partner David Burtka were honorary hosts at a culinary cookout Sunday in L.A. – which drew out a who's who of Hollywood and the culinary world to help raise money for children's cancer charity, Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
Guests at the soiree – held at Culver Studios – enjoyed cocktails and food donated by celebrity chefs, including Jonathan Waxman, April Bloomfield and Susan Spicer. Among the offerings served: grilled quail with plum char siu andapple yogurt; pork belly served over cabbage; grilled octopus salad; a fennel and squash blossom, prepared by Waxman, who competed on Top Chef Masters; and Ribollita, made by Bloomfield, chef at the New York hotspot the Spotted Pig.

After a cruise along the Italian Mediterranean that included a stop in Portofino for gelato, Elton John and his family played host to their close pals Neil Patrick Harris and his family in the South of France on Thursday.
Harris, 38, and partner David Burtka shared the task of carrying 10-month-old twins Gideon Scott and Harper Grace from Sir Elton's yacht, while John's partner, David Furnish, kept grip on the couple's own 7-month-old son, Zachary.
"It took a bit of organization," one source tells PEOPLE, "because they had to come ashore by launch. And that has to be done very carefully with infants."

The group was having a great time together and, at one point, asked their waiter for grilling tips from the chef. For dinner, everyone ordered rib eye steaks, and Harris drank a Manhattan and Old Fashioned cocktail.
