Living at one of the world's most famous residences has really given Larry the cat a big head.

U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron's family pet, a rescue cat adopted because he was thought to be good at mousing, has taken more to lounging under the British summer sun than he has to catching rodents inside.

On Tuesday, Larry wandered off from the 10 Downing Street stoop and found a place to nap – on Downing Street itself. While the asphalt must have been plenty warm for the brazen kitty, he was stretched out too close to passing cars (cabinet ministers needed to drive away from their morning meeting). He was soon picked up by a police officer and carried back to safety.

Here comes the sun!

As the official start of summer quickly approaches, humans in the Northern Hemisphere are heading outside – and so are their pets. Bo Obama, for one, caught some rays while walking through the White House Rose Garden on Wednesday.

Larry the 10 Downing Street cat, the U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron's pet and Bo's counterpart across the Pond, got his dose of Vitamin D on Wednesday while sitting on the doorstep of his famous residence.

Who knew the two sides had so much in common?

Every office needs a little puppy therapy – even the Oval Office.

Following a full few days with British Prime Minister David Cameron, President Barack Obama took a moment to spend some quality time with his big guy at home: Portuguese water dog Bo.

While the President crouched down to rub Bo's head, he appeared to say a few words to the dog, who has of late been enjoying time in his backyard.
