It's like Chekhov always said: Never make a joke about giving pizza to celebrities in the first act if you're not going to actually give the celebrities pizza in the third act.

No Hollywood wedding planner. No big dress. Just a couple of kids on a Thursday morning at the courthouse, with an impromptu officiant sealing the deal.
That's how Kristen Bell described her October wedding to husband Dax Shepard, which went off happily and without the usual celebrity pomp and flourish.
"We wanted the lowest-key day possible," Bell, 33, told Jay Leno on Thursday of her quiet nuptials. The couple had dated since 2007 and became engaged in 2010.

Just nine days after saying "I do" to longtime beau Dax Shepard, Kristen Bell is feeling the newlywed bliss.
"I'm still on a high," she told PEOPLE at Saturday's Frozen press junket in New York. "We actually did it. I can officially call him my husband, which is pretty awesome. Other than that, it feels exactly the same."
Engaged since 2009, Bell, 33, and Shepard, 38, quietly wed at the Beverly Hills County Clerk's Office on Oct. 17. The couple, who are parents to 7-month-old daughter Lincoln, waited to tie the knot until California legalized same-sex marriage, which happened in June.
With a healthy baby and a loving bond with her Parenthood actor husband, "Life is great," said Bell. "I couldn't be happier."

It's official: Dax Shepard and longtime love Kristen Bell have tied the knot, the actress confirms.
The actors have been together since 2007 and have a 7-month-old daughter, Lincoln, born in March. They have always maintained they would not wed until gay couples could legally do so in the state of California.
"We would feel weird taking advantage of a right that's not available to certain citizens of the state we live in," Bell, who stars on House of Lies, told PEOPLE in August 2012.

The Supreme Court's historic ruling striking down the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) and overturning California's Prop 8 means that a lot more couples are going to get married.
And now Kristen Bell is making sure she and Dax Shepard are among those couples.
The twosome, who originally got engaged in late 2009 and welcomed daughter Lincoln in March, reaffirmed that they would now tie the knot after Tweeting their support of the Supreme Court's decisions Wednesday when Bell Tweeted a proposal – and Shepard replied, ahem, enthusiastically.
