Dayanara Torres: Ex 'Will Always Be a Dear Friend'

Just a day after announcing her breakup from boyfriend Amaury Nolasco, Dayanara Torres tells PEOPLE she and the Prison Break actor are trying to remain friends.
"Absolutely, he will always be a dear friend, I love him to death," Torres told PEOPLE at a Hot Moms Club launch party in West Hollywood, to benefit the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.
"I support him, he's always supported me. Because we broke up, it doesn't mean that somebody did anything bad to anybody. We just decided mutually that it didn't work out, but we are friendly, and will always be," added Torres, 33.

Dayanara Torres & Boyfriend Break Up

Former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres has split from her boyfriend, Prison Break's Amaury Nolasco, according to a statement released Monday to Peopleenespanol.com.
"After being together for a year, we have decided to end our relationship. We will always have a lovely friendship and share great love and respect for each other," the couple announced.
Torres, the 32-year-old ex-wife of Marc Anthony, and Nolasco, 36, confirmed their relationship to People En Español in July 2007. Click here for more on the couple.

SINGER SPLITS: Marc Anthony and his wife of 26 months, former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres, have broken up, the singer's production company confirmed to the Associated Press Tuesday. The two had married in May 2000 in Las Vegas and have a 16-month-old son, Christian Anthony Muniz. Anthony, 33, also has a daughter, Arianna, born in 1994, whose mother is his former girlfriend Debbie Rosado. No further details regarding the marital breakup were reported.
