Debbie Gibson Recalls Working with Dick Clark

When Dick Clark died last week at age 82, several stars shared personal memories of the man called "America's Oldest Teenager."
In the 1980s, Clark worked closely with the then-teenaged Debbie Gibson, asking her to appear on American Bandstand multiple times, and even having her host the American Music Awards in 1989. And after Gibson's teen pop star days were over, Clark remained close to Gibson, tapping her to co-host Dick Clark's American Bandstand 50th Anniversary Collection in 2007.
In an exclusive to PEOPLE, Gibson recalls her bond with Clark.

Looks like Katy Perry had a pretty eclectic entourage last Friday night.
In the music video for her latest single, "Last Friday Night," Perry, 26, is woken up post-festivities by Glee's Darren Criss, serenaded by Kenny G and fantasized about by Criss's costar Kevin McHale.
Also getting down at Perry's party: "Friday" singer Rebecca Black, Hanson, Corey Feldman and Debbie Gibson, who play the geeked-out pop star's parents.

Deborah Gibson Credits Boyfriend for Helping Her Lose Weight

Deborah Gibson has a secret weapon in her battle to stay fit: her boyfriend.
For a year and a half, Gibson has been dating Rutledge Taylor, a medical doctor specializing in preventative medicine. To help Gibson keep in shape for her busy schedule, he developed a strict diet and exercise program. "I won't say it was easy," Gibson tells PEOPLE, "but it was really effective. He really came up with something that worked for me."
"I thought I had just 5 lbs. to lose," she continues, "But as it went on, I realized that I needed to drop a few more."
The final tally: 17 lbs. "It really gives me a lot more energy to be fit," she says, "and it's also empowering. I'll be 39 soon, and I'm in the best shape of my life."

Deborah Gibson: 'Scary' Stalker Won't Slow Her Down

Deborah Gibson is speaking out about the man who allegedly stalked her earlier this April.
In her restraining order application filed on Tuesday, Gibson, 37, alleges that Bassas Jorge Puigdollers has continually shown up at Gibson's hotel and house. The last straw was when Puigdollers came to her home and knocked on her door.
"That was crossing a line, so that was really scary," she tells PEOPLE. "I am a single female, so I reacted like anyone would and called 911. I'm very good at reacting calmly in the moment, but then I fall apart later."

What better way to celebrate a wedding than with a passionate high five? That was Backstreet Boy Howie Dorough's theory when he tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Leigh Boniello.
After the pair was officially pronounced man and wife on Saturday, "They high-fived each other in church," says singer Deborah Gibson, a longtime friend of Dorough's who attended their Orlando nuptials. "They really are best friends and that came across throughout the whole ceremony."

If you're tuning into the premiere of UPN's America's Next Top Model tonight, don't expect to see any plus-sized models – though the contestants won't all be a size 0 either. Host Tyra Banks tells us that no matter what the trends are, she wanted to show some diversity in terms of size. "If you look at the runway right now and you look at magazines, models are skinnier now than they've ever been," she tells us. "I came from an era of the early '90s where girls were a lot more voluptuous. I don't have the power to change the fashion industry, but I do have the power to put an image on television of women who are not as skinny as those girls in the magazines. Most of our girls on our show, as thin as they may look, in the fashion industry they might not be so accepted in terms of that body type."
