Denise Richards has no plans to attend ex-husband Charlie Sheen's one-man-show – even if, technically, she's in it.
"For me, it's very sad to see him on this path," Richards told Andy Cohen on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live Thursday night. "I've heard he's chosen to use me in part of his tour [material], and that's hurtful. But that's his choice ... He can do what he wants in his show."
She added, "We're not in the best place right now, to be honest with you. But I do still communicate with him."

As the world continues to get to know a new side of Charlie Sheen, where are his four young children in the midst of all this?
Authorities removed his twin boys, Max and Bob, nearly 2, from his care Tuesday night and returned them to their mother, Brooke Mueller, after she won a restraining order. Soon afterward, Sheen urged Mueller on NBC's Today show to "tell me where our sons are."
A source close to Mueller tells PEOPLE the boys are currently living in an L.A.-area rental apartment with her, along with Mueller's mother Moira Fiore and a nanny while Fiore waits to complete a purchase on a condo.

Charlie Sheen's latest troubles, including a trip to rehab, are not only affecting the actor and his hit show, which is now on hiatus, but could be reaching his children, too.
"It's been horrific and so sad," a source tells PEOPLE of the situation. "Every day something has been in the news."
Ex-wife Denise Richards has done her best to protect Sam and Lola" – their daughters, ages 6 and 5, "but it's been very challenging. She can only keep so much from them," the source says.
Noting that Richards, 39, "still cares about [Charlie] a great deal," adds the source, "all she wants is for him to be healthy."

Looks like Denise Richards still has a thing for those bad boys.
After playing it coy about whether she was dating rocker and radio host Nikki Sixx, the actress finally 'fessed up during an interview with Andy Cohen of Bravo's Watch What Happens Live.
"We've gone on a couple dates," Richards says. "The God's honest truth is we're taking it very slowly."

Denise Richards is counting her blessings this holiday season – and that begins with her girls knowing exactly what they want for Christmas.
"Have you heard of American Girl? That's all they want. They actually went through the catalog, and that's all that's on their lists," the actress, 39, tells PEOPLE of daughters Sam, 6, and Lola, 5.

Saying she's sorry about what happened, and that her ex-husband Charlie Sheen will always be part of her and their daughters' lives, Denise Richards says, "I have a lot of faith in my ex."
Her concern, however, is for their two young daughters, whom she says are unaware of the headlines their father generated Tuesday when it was reported that, wild and out of control, he trashed his room at New York's Plaza Hotel, while Richards and the girls were in a nearby room.
"I am concerned about my children ... and keeping them safe," Richards said on Wednesday's fourth hour of the Today show, in what was a previously scheduled appearance to discuss her TV series, Blue Mountain State.
"Being a mom," she added, "is the most important thing to me."

What on Earth happened to Charlie?
The one person with many of the details, Sheen's ex, Denise Richards, doesn't want to say too much so that she can spare their daughters Sam, 6, and Lola, 5, who were reportedly nearby when their father was taken to the hospital.
"We're in an amazing place, we've been getting along great for the last year, year-and-a-half," Richards, 39, said on The Joy Behar Show Tuesday. "We're doing our best, so as far as that situation, I'm trying to protect the girls from it as much as possible."
Sheen, 45, was found in a New York hotel room and hospitalized for what police sources say was intoxication and what his rep says was an allergic reaction to medication. Richards declined to reveal what she saw, but said, "I did help him at the hospital."
Sheen spent all day there Tuesday. "Charlie Sheen has been discharged from a hospital in N.Y. and is returning to L.A. today," his rep says. "Everything else is speculation."
