While female Yankee fans are buzzing about Derek Jeter's new single status, sources on the set of Charlie's Angels in Miami are talking about a growing late-night friendship between his ex Minka Kelly and her costar Ramon Rodriguez.
"We have seen Minka and Ramon talking in his trailer way after hours, and often late into the night," a source on the set tells PEOPLE. "They have been together long after they need to be for the show."
Another source isn't so quick to couple them up: "They're just friends. Ramon is basically the only guy on set so of course they all hang out with him."

Minka Kelly's split from New York Yankees star Derek Jeter was confirmed Friday, but it sounds like he may have struck out several weeks prior.
At the TCAs Aug. 7 – where Kelly, 31, was promoting her upcoming Charlie's Angels TV reboot – the actress seemed to foreshadow her split from Jeter, 37.
When asked to complete this sentence: "I don't need a man to …," Kelly was quick with her response.

Before dating Yankee slugger Derek Jeter, Minka Kelly struck out when it came to her knowledge of baseball.
"When I met Derek, I didn't know anything about baseball at all," Kelly says in a new HBO documentary, Derek Jeter 3K, which premiered last week.
"I didn't know the difference between a run and a homerun," the actress, who's been dating Jeter since 2008, continues. "I thought if you made a connection with the ball, that was an automatic hit."
In the film, about Jeter's quest for 3,000 career hits, the private couple joke about bonding over baseball.

With girlfriend Minka Kelly rooting from a luxury box, Derek Jeter got his 3,000th career hit Saturday with a home run against the Tampa Bay Rays at Yankee Stadium.
The team captain, 37, became the first Yankee to reach the milestone and the 28th to do so in major league baseball.
Kelly, 31, who is preparing for her role as a tough crime fighter on ABC's upcoming Charlie's Angels reboot, was among Jeter's family and friends at the game.

Minka Kelly and Derek Jeter might not be getting married today. But how about tomorrow?
In the February issue of GQ, the actress, 30, denies that a wedding is imminent – but doesn't exactly put the rumors to rest beyond the short term.
"I promise you, I'm not getting married in the next month," Kelly says – though that's not much help, given that the interview took place at the beginning of December.

Take her out to the ballgame!
With the New York Yankees just two wins away from the World Series, Minka Kelly was cheering loudly at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx on Wednesday as her longtime beau Derek Jeter and his team bested the Texas Rangers, 7-2.
The couple have long been the subject of engagement rumors, though they've never confirmed that they plan to wed. In January, the New York Post reported that the baseball player and Kelly, 30, were set to tie the knot on November 5, only days after the World Series is scheduled to conclude.

Minka Kelly says she had the best days of her life when her mom kept strange hours with an unusual job.
"She was a stripper," Kelly, who was named Esquire's Sexiest Woman Alive this year, tells the magazine. "It was all about what we could do to have fun with nothing. She would come home at like three, four o'clock in the morning, and she would wake me up in the middle of the night and we'd go grocery shopping."

It's been a rough year for Tiger Woods, but perhaps $90 million will help ease the pain.
That's how much the golf champion raked in between his $20 million in sports winnings for 2009 and $70 million in estimated endorsement earnings for 2010 – putting him in the top spot, for the seventh straight year, of SI.com's "Fortunate 50" list of the highest-earning American athletes.
In the wake of his sex scandal, Woods, 34, is pulling in about $22 million less in endorsement money compared to 2009, but his golf winnings last year were greater than in 2008 – leaving him only about $10 million down overall.
