For Diego Luna, becoming a dad has simplified his life.
"Well, it's just everything is easier now," the Mexican-born actor says of his 11-week-old baby boy, Jeronimo, Saturday while promoting his new drama, Milk, in Beverly Hills. "There is just one reason for you to be here. It's to make sure someone else is happy, and [he] has everything he needs. It's as simple as that."
Plus, Luna, 28, adds, Jeronimo is "the only guy who is not judging me now."

The heist flick Criminal (opening Sept. 10) is anything but a romance, but the stylish thriller starring John C. Reilly (Chicago, Boogie Nights) does have at least one tender moment: a kiss between Maggie Gyllenhaal, 26, and Mexican heartthrob Diego Luna (Y Tu Mama Tambien), 24. But before you get all excited about a new on-set romance, the stars say the smooch was not the steamiest. "Kissing him was just sweet," says Gyllenhaal. "Diego seems like he could be a friend of my brother's (actor Jake, 23). He's a little younger than me. He's like a cutie pie! It actually wasn't, like, that hot thing. It was sweet and lovely." As for his experience with Gyllenhaal, Luna says: "I have to say with Maggie, the greatest thing is that there's always a lot happening in her eyes. You can see a lot of what she's feeling. She has very expressive eyes. You see everything through her."

Nobody puts Diego in a corner – not when he's making his American debut as a leading man. After earning Hollywood props in the Spanish-language film Y Tu Mama Tambien, Diego Luna, 24, is slinking across the dance floor (and making the girls swoon, thanks to a few samba lessons) in Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights, the retooled story of 1987's Dirty Dancing. But Luna's not exactly your older sister's Patrick Swayze. The lanky Mexican actor with the seductive Latin accent has held his own against Salma Hayek (in Frida) and Tom Hanks (in Steven Spielberg's upcoming Terminal), and this time around he plays a character caught up in love and the Cuban revolution.
