There have been rumors of a Kenny Rogers/Dolly Parton affair for decades, but Rogers says their relationship never went beyond flirtation. Albeit "massive" flirtation.

Looks like there's a fairy tail ending after all for Dolly Parton's furry namesake, who was found alone in a tent at the Glastonbury Music Festival.
The pooch, nicknamed "Doggie Parton," is back in a fur-ever home – just not with Parton.
"In the last five minutes, we got a call from the main people with the government, and they told us that the true owners did come forward," Parton, 68, said in a virtual press conference on Thursday. "They had reported the dog missing. There was a language barrier; I think they were from another country. They got the dog back, and everyone feels good about it."

Dolly Parton was feeling "saxy" at Glastonbury, and now a dog rescued at the music festival has captured her heart.

"I was feeling rather saxy today," the 68-year-old singer told the massive crowd at the Glastonbury Music Festival on Sunday. "I wanted to do something to impress you."
The oversized audience – an estimated 100,000 people – erupted in cheers before she even played the first note of the familiar theme to The Benny Hill Show. (And, if you ever watched Benny Hill, you know it's not hard to imagine the late comic chasing Dolly around a park bench or an elaborately sculpted hedge while that frenzied instrumental plays in the background.)

Like peanut butter and jelly or, say, the Internet and cat videos, country music and major hair just go together.
And while today's crop of Nashville regulars put plenty of time (read: hairspray) into their dos, we'd really like to see these singers return to the genre's roots (pun intended).
Ahead of Wednesday's CMT Music Awards, we're playing stylist for the female video of the year nominees to imagine what they'd look like rocking the styles and, more importantly, hair of yesteryear.

Dolly Parton never had children, but she's always had a special bond with kids.
"I grew up in a big old family with eight kids younger than me and several of my brothers and sisters came to live with me early on in my life," she tells PEOPLE Country. "I've loved their kids just like they're my grandkids, and now I've got great-grand-kids!"
Her husband Carl Dean is "Uncle PeePaw" to their nieces and nephews, "and they call me 'Aunt Granny,' " says Parton, 68, who just released her 42nd studio album Blue Smoke. "Now I'm GeeGee, which is great-granny. I often think, it just wasn't meant for me to have kids so everybody's kids can be mine."

Dolly Parton is one of music's true legends, and a being of pure light created to bring joy and love to the world.
So when Jimmy Fallon tried on one of her wigs, we were expecting more. He does look rather fetching, though.
