They've tackled music, acting and fame, and now brothers Donnie and Mark Wahlberg are engaged in a new family pursuit – the restaurant biz.

Also starring in this new venture is their lesser-known but similarly outspoken older brother Paul, who isn't necessarily keen on having the celebrity siblings step into his groove. Check out a first look at A&E's new reality show, Wahlburgers.

"Being in business with my brothers was never the plan," says Paul.

Mark Wahlberg says his family won't be the new Kardashians.

Wahlberg will appear in a new unscripted A&E series about family-owned restaurant Wahlburgers alongside his mother and brothers Donnie and Paul. But the actor and producer shoots down any comparison to that other famous set of reality TV siblings.

"No, no. It's very different. It's very different. Nothing against them. They've been hugely successful," he said in an interview Tuesday before the premiere of his war film Lone Survivor. ''It's just about building a family business. Uh, it's just very different, very different."

Donnie Wahlberg has the right stuff for Jenny McCarthy

"If every relationship leads you to the next person and it leads you to what you want and what you don't want, I feel like I deserve great and he's great," The View cohost said Saturday while hosting a party at 1 OAK in Las Vegas.

The couple, who has been dating since early July, are still in the honeymoon phase.

"It's new," she said. "I took a year off [from dating] but I said if I meet someone who makes me stop that year off, it's someone who I need to pay attention to."

Jenny McCarthy: I'm Getting Into the Groove on The View

Originally posted 09/16/2013 03:00PM

The first week on a new job can be hard on anyone, but what if it took place live on national TV? That didn't seem to be an issue for Jenny McCarthy, who just completed her first week as a new co-host of The View.

"I feel grateful, I feel excited, I feel like I'm getting into the groove," McCarthy, 40, told PEOPLE at the launch party for McDonald's new Mighty Wings in New York on Sunday.

Although McCarthy's first guest – her new boyfriend, New Kids on the Block singer and Blue Bloods star Donnie Wahlberg, 44 – made her first day as a co-host that much easier, she says she enjoys the thrill of live TV and being in New York City.

"I love being scared out of mind if something goes wrong," McCarthy said. "I'm just so happy to be out of Los Angeles. I miss [my hometown] Chicago. I'm still there on weekends, but I feel like I'm morphing into a New Yorker, and I couldn't be happier about it."

Jenny McCarthy on Donnie Wahlberg: 'He Brings Out the Best in Me'

When Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg hooked up this summer, cynics dismissed the relationship as a summer fling.

But things seem to be getting serious for the celebrity couple – so much so that The View's newest co-host, 40, requested that her new beau be her very first guest on the show.

"He was booked to come on the show later to promote Blue Bloods, and I said, 'Can you just switch the date to be my first guest?' " she tells PEOPLE. "He makes me feel really comfortable and puts me at ease and he brings out the best in me. So I thought, 'Why not step out of your comfort zone, for me, and make me feel comfy on that day?' "
