Just like his quarterback dad, Eli Manning's dog, Chester, has to be quick on his feet.
"He has two babies running around, and so, finally, the oldest has stopped grabbing the tail, but he's got a new 1-year-old," the New York Giants quarterback says of his daughters, Ava, 3, and Lucy, who turns one on June 17. "But he's gotten used to that and understands – he's been sweet and doing great."
Though an ankle injury sidelined the athlete last season, he was given the all-clear to hit the green at New York's Mount Kisco Country Club on Monday for the 37th Annual Guiding Eyes for the Blind Golf Classic, where he putted with a blindfold over his eyes to see exactly what it's like to play with a visual impairment (watch him swing in the video below).
The 33-year-old football player – and dog lover! – also met pups who serve as the eyes for so many people, like 20-month-old Jansen (left), a yellow Lab and guide dog-in-training.

Come Sunday, a Manning will step out onto the field at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., in an attempt to win another Super Bowl ring – but it won't be Eli.
Instead, the New York Giants quarterback's older brother, Peyton, will be vying for his second Super Bowl championship at the home stadium of his brother's team, and that's just the way Eli likes it.
"If I'm not going to be able to play in a Super Bowl in my own stadium, there's no one else I'd rather than Peyton to play in it," Eli told PEOPLE on Wednesday while appearing at a promotional event for Purina Pro Plan. "I'm excited for him."

The greatest day in sports will soon be upon us: This Sunday, the Denver Broncos will face off against the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. If you're a football fan, you already knew all that. And if you're not, you probably don't care.
Well, Peyton Manning is here to change that. You don't need to study his stats or read up on why cold weather could hurt his chances, nothing like that. Instead, in five short clips, he'll convince you he deserves your support by mastering the second most important part of Sunday's match-up: the commercials.
Manning has become synonymous with the many comedic TV spots he's filmed over the years. Here, we present his five best:

There's probably nothing dogs love more than a good game of fetch with their owner – but what if the person throwing the ball is two-time Super Bowl champion Eli Manning?
Lucky for Chester, the King Charles Cavalier who calls Manning dad, there's no reason to be intimidated about his performance as a receiver.
"He's good at fetch and we do a lot of that," Manning told PEOPLE Wednesday in New York while participating in Purina Pro Plan's MANning vs. DOG Challenge. "He's pretty good. He can find it and he can go get it. He's got good speed and good agility."

Tom Brady, be warned: Eli Manning isn't just a lethal force on the football field. He knows his way around the kitchen, too.
The New York Giants quarterback's specialty? Lace cookies – an old favorite in the Manning household. "My mom made these cookies for us all the time and they are my favorite," says Eli, 31. "She still makes them every time I make a visit home."
The recipe (below), comes from Loukoumi's Celebrity Cookbook, featuring the favorite childhood recipes from than 50 stars, including Beyoncé, Reese Witherspoon, Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Aniston, Betty White and many more.

Giants quarterback Eli Manning and his wife Abby McGrew could throw a sensational Super Bowl party if they wanted to.
While their 3,000-square-foot Hoboken, N.J., condo isn't as enormous as some celebrity cribs, they recently gave the apartment an ultra-high-tech makeover, showcased in Electronic House magazine.
Touch-screen pads are everywhere, allowing 27-year-old Manning’s MVP fingers to adjust everything from music in the shower to the video on his 63-inch plasma TV. "I can control anything I want," Manning, who wed college sweetheart McGrew, 24, in April, told the magazine.
There's even a James Bond-like bar that appears out of a pillar in his living room. With the Giants at 4-0, the champ is clearly chilling out in style.
