Kim Kardashian's admiration for Elizabeth Taylor continues.
The reality star, who has long been obsessed with the late Hollywood legend, posted a tribute to La Liz on Instagram late Monday – posing with a towel in her hair and showing off a diamond ring in front of a photo of Taylor in the same pose from the '60s.
"#MyIdol," Kardashian, 33, wrote in the simple caption to the picture, which is an homage to a photo taken of Taylor by her lifelong pal, the actor and photographer Roddy McDowall.

From the set of Cleopatra to the Cannes International Film Festival to Mexico to Switzerland, Elizabeth Taylor's children saw plenty of the world.
Growing up the son of a screen legend "was great, kind of circus-like," says Christopher Wilding. "The big tent folds and moves to the next city."
And wherever they called home, the 58-year-old adds, Taylor "took great pains to create a stable family life" for the four children she adored.
In this week's issue of PEOPLE, Taylor's family shares intimate memories and rare pictures of their mother for the first time in honor of her AIDS activism, leading up to World AIDS Day on Dec. 1. Never-before-seen photographs taken by her close friend (and Lassie Come Home costar) Roddy McDowall show Taylor as you’ve never seen her, at ease and unposed. "He was the only one who could get really genuinely relaxed pictures of my mother," says Christopher.

This week Sasha and I are dancing the fox trot to "Buttercup."
It's such a sweet elegant dance, and Sasha did an amazing job with choreography which you guys will see this Monday night on Dancing with the Stars.
This week was so much fun rehearsing because at this point I feel like Sasha and I are old friends. Even though we take this competition seriously and want to do the best we can, we always remember to have fun and enjoy this awesome experience.

Playing Elizabeth Taylor had its sparkling perks for Helena Bonham Carter, who stars as the diamond-loving film icon in Burton and Taylor.
And they came from real-life partner Tim Burton.
"I had my birthday during [filming] so I cost him a lot of money," Bonham Carter said at a recent roundtable event with reporters. "It's funny how things educate you. I'm not really that interested in jewels. But I got a few jewels off ... [my] Elizabeth Taylor phase."

Still the most notorious movie of all time – for its record-setting cost overruns, for the scandalous extramarital affair of its two stars, and for how its out-of-control production brought down the entire administration of 20th Century-Fox – Cleopatra, with Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, marks the 50th anniversary of its world premiere on June 12.
In tribute to the landmark, and Life magazine's lively coverage of the epic as the drama unfolded behind the scenes in Rome half a century ago, Life.com has assembled an eye-catching photo spread of several rare and even never-before-seen Cleopatra photographs by Paul Schutzer.
Titled Liz Taylor and Richard Burton on the Set of 'Cleopatra': Rare and Classic Photos, the layout shows the two stars at play not only with each other, but with their children during the making of what remains one of the great lavish spectacles the screen has ever seen.
