Lindsay Lohan Is 'Elizabeth Taylor Reincarnated,' Says Costar
Originally posted 09/28/2012 11:05AM
Lindsay Lohan's performance as Elizabeth Taylor in the upcoming Lifetime movie Liz and Dick has already gotten at least one rave review.
"She's pretty much Elizabeth Taylor reincarnated," says her costar Grant Bowler, who plays Taylor's on-again-off-again husband, Richard Burton, in the clip above. The actor adds that Lohan was "excellent to work with" on the film.
For her part, the often-troubled starlet says that she can identify with the late Taylor. "I relate to her on a lot of levels," says Lohan. "Living in the public eye, dealing with the stress of what other people say, whether it's true or not."

Lindsay Lohan Acts Up a Storm as Elizabeth Taylor (Video)
Originally posted 09/21/2012 10:15AM
As the most famous celebrity couple of the '60s – if not the 20th century – Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton were known as the "Battling Burtons" during their two tumultuous marriages and divorces.
Now, Lindsay Lohan, who has been known to face some battles of her own, is assaying the role of the violet-eyed, little-girl-voiced beauty who captured the hearts of millions, to say nothing of that of the lusty Welshman who could always act rings around his costars. (Watch the trailer below.)
Just how well LiLo comes off as La Liz, and True Blood's Grant Bowler as Dick, can be sampled in a 30-second trailer for the Lifetime TV movie Liz & Dick.

Glimpses onto the set of Lifetime's Liz & Dick biopic have shown Lindsay Lohan channeling Elizabeth Taylor's beauty, glamour and grace with the success of a Hollywood veteran.
And as filming for the movie wraps up, Lohan slips into one of Taylor's most iconic roles – as Cleopatra from the 1963 film.
In a photo snapped between takes Monday, seemingly on a cigarette break, Lohan passes for the Queen of the Nile in a choppy black wig and gold heels (shoes that Angelina Jolie was once rumored to fill in a film about Cleopatra based on a recent biography).

Lindsay Lohan Looks Just Like Elizabeth Taylor in Old Photo
Originally posted 04/26/2012 12:35PM
Lindsay Lohan has just signed on to play Elizabeth Taylor in a Lifetime movie. But the young actress has felt a kinship with the late Hollywood legend before.
In 2006, when she was just 19, Lohan posed as Taylor for Interview magazine in photos taken by Karl Lagerfeld – including a cover shot.
The shots are remarkably powerful, with Lohan managing to capture much of Taylor's beauty and vulnerability – traits she'll have to channel for the Lifetime film, too.
It has not been revealed who will star opposite Lohan as Richard Burton in Liz & Dick. Russell Crowe and Clive Owen are running neck and neck in a PEOPLE poll from earlier this week.
