• After enjoying a motorcycle ride through Los Angeles recently, George Clooney enjoyed a romantic dinner with Elisabetta Canalis at Crustacean Restaurant in Beverly Hills. The two shared rosé champagne and nuzzled at their table. After their meal, the two thanked the owners, who were also dining there.

Matt Damon Loves George Clooney's Girlfriend

George Clooney's newest squeeze has passed an important test: gaining the approval of her beau's friends.
"She is a really, really wonderful woman," Clooney's close pal Matt Damon, 38, told PEOPLE at Tuesday's Manhattan premiere of his film The Informant!
Damon says he and wife Luciana vacationed this summer with the Oceans Eleven star and his new girlfriend, Elisabetta Canalis, 30. And apparently Canalis, an Italian TV presenter, is having a good effect on Clooney, 48.

• Justin Long treated Drew Barrymore to an authentic Indian dinner at Brick Lane Curry House in New York's East Village. The couple walked in without a reservation and went unrecognized in the restaurant, clearly enjoying each other's company. The two skipped dessert, but they were super sweet with the staff: Long left a nearly 30% tip while Barrymore chatted up the manager.

George Clooney Serenades the Crowd in Venice

George Clooney may not have wowed Venetian crowds with the oft-shouted-for kiss with new girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis, but he did them one better: He sang for them.
When a technical glitch interrupted the Tuesday screening of the star's latest, The Men Who Stare at Goats at the Venice Film Festival, Clooney, 48, entertained the audience with his rendition of the Neapolitan classic "O Sole Mio," traditionally used to serenade young couples.
Sure, it might've been more romantic if he'd sung it solely for Canalis, 30, but the Italian TV presenter seemed happy with the PDA she got – Clooney rarely unclasped his hand from hers, and the couple sipped champagne together when another technical problem interrupted the screening.
After the movie, the two went to a party Venice's Casino, where the pair were constantly whispering in each other's ears when Clooney wasn't trying to tackle a veal cutlet with his bandaged hand.
