"The Body" won't quit!
Elle Macpherson was spotted shopping Tuesday at Sofia Bananabeat Boutique at the Malibu Country Mart.
The 48-year-old supermodel – who recently posed in a bikini for the first time in six years – told staff she was "on a mission to find a 10-year-old girl a special gift" so she wouldn't be shopping for herself.
But once she discovered a pair of One Teaspon cut-off shorts, she couldn't resist.
"I love these, but could I wear them?" the mother of two asked staffers.
The staff at Sofia Bananabeat Boutique assured the lingerie mogul she could pull anything off and she stepped into a fitting room.
Macpherson soon emerged, took a look at herself in the mirror and said, "These are great, I'll get them!"

Thanks to her incredible figure, Elle Macpherson long ago became known by the nickname "The Body."
Now 47, the legendary supermodel shows she's still sexy after all these years, frolicking on the beach in Malibu wearing nothing more than her signature triangle bikini for a PEOPLE photo shoot (her first swimsuit session in six years). Watch video of the model in action on the set of her shoot below.
While the mother of two says her killer curves are the product of a clean diet, daily exercise and good genes – and not the surgeon's knife – she admits that even she is not immune to the body blahs.

Well, that was interesting.
NBC's much-anticipated Fashion Star premiered Tuesday night, and it's definitely the spectacle we were promised.
The show started with a racy dance number that led into the first runway presentation, featuring looks from two contestants. It continued this way, showcasing three signature pieces from each designer, leaving the decision of who would stay in the competition – and who would go home – to buyers from H&M, Saks Fifth Avenue and Macy's.
The main focus of Tuesday's premiere was the runway show. Mentors Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie and John Varvatos had limited roles. There weren't many vignettes on the designers' back stories, and workroom drama was kept to a minimum.
Not that episode wasn't without any tension: Menswear designer Nicholas Bowes caused a bit of controversy when he dismissed Simpson and Richie's critiques of his trite motorcycle jackets and disjointed styling, saying he didn't value their opinions because they're women who design for other women.

Fashion Star will be taking its style to the streets.
The NBC competition, which pits 14 unknown designers against each other for a chance to launch their collections, will put winning designs from each episode on the market for viewers to buy as soon as it airs.
"I don't want to find the next great designer," host and executive producer Elle MacPherson says in a sneak peek of the series, which premieres March 13. "I want to find the next great fashion icon."

Those recent photos of Elle Macpherson looking fantastic in a tiny metallic bikini? The 47-year-old supermodel says she hasn't seen them. But she does have some tips for looking great – and it starts with feeling great.
"I hear there's been a lot of pictures of me surfing. I cringe at the thought of them," Macpherson told PEOPLE at Sunday's Golden Globe awards.
"Listen, have fun," she says of her first workout rule. "Do lots of sport. Don't worry about your silhouette, worry about how you feel. That's what I say to myself: 'How do I feel today?' "

All bow to Her Majesty. The Queen Oscar winner Helen Mirren isn't just a golden girl in the acting department – she's got a hot bod.
How hot? The 66-year-old Mirren just beat Elle MacPherson, and Jennifer Lopez and Pippa Middleton for the title of "Body of the Year," according to a survey of 2,000 people commissioned by the L.A. Fitness gym chain.
Dame Helen was the choice of nearly 18 percent of the respondents, while MacPherson, 48, known as "The Body," was picked by just more than 10 percent.
