[BRIGHTCOVE "4062765348001" "" "" "auto"] Is Meredith's relationship with Derek in jeopardy once again?
Last week on Grey's Anatomy, we saw Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) take off to D.C. for "emergency sex" with her husband Derek (Patrick Dempsey) in order to strengthen their relationship.
However, as an exclusive clip reveals, Meredith and her "suitcase full of lingerie" may have visited a different gentleman (or lady) caller altogether.

It may have been a while since Grey's Anatomy aired its winter finale, but don't worry – the doctors of Grey Sloane Memorial still relate way too much to the traumas that get wheeled in to the ER.
April (Sarah Drew) and Jackson (Jesse Williams) were still reeling after learning that their unborn baby has a fatal condition, and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) was as hot-and-cold about her relationship with Derek (Patrick Dempsey) as ever. However, she may have found a new Person. Or, well, a suitable stand-in, anyway.
Also, as ever, Dr. Herman (Geena Davis) is not here for anyone's BS.

When Ellen Pompeo finally hangs up her scrubs from Grey's Anatomy, she may also turn in her SAG card.
The actress, who is about to begin her 11th season on the ABC medical drama, told fans Wednesday that she doesn't find "acting terribly empowering" and would prefer a gig behind the camera once she stops playing Meredith Grey.

As the mother of a toddler, Ellen Pompeo is often forced to wake up early – with a little help from her rooster.
During Tuesday's appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the actress, 43, dished about owning several hens and one male rooster, a fact that didn't go unnoticed by one of her neighbors.
"I have this other neighbor who I don't know and still don't know and she emailed me one day and said, 'I don't have my rooster anymore,'" Pompeo told Ellen DeGeneres. "'But my hens are very depressed because the rooster isn't around, can I take an egg, a fertilized egg?'"
