Ellen Pompeo Makes First Public Appearance Since Giving Birth

Just two weeks after giving birth to baby girl Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery, a radiant Ellen Pompeo, with husband Christopher Ivery by her side, told PEOPLE "I feel great" as she stepped out Wednesday to attend the collection launch of Adidas Originals by David Beckham and James Bond in Los Angeles.
Donning heels and a black sweater-dress, the Grey's Anatomy star, 39, said, "everything is fantastic" on the home front, and that the best thing about being a new mom is "everything. I'm the luckiest girl in the world!"
Though both Pompeo and Katherine Heigl, who recently adopted baby girl Naleigh, are still both on breaks from filming their ABC medical series, Pompeo says their daughters' social calendars are bound to fill up.
On the agenda: Possible play dates, but only when Stella "catches up a little bit" in age to Naleigh. "She's a lot older," notes Pompeo.

It's a girl for Ellen Pompeo!
The Grey's Anatomy star, 39, and husband Chris Ivery welcomed a daughter, Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery, on Sept. 15 in Los Angeles, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.
The couple – who wed in 2007 – announced the pregnancy in April.
There's been quite the baby boom on the Grey's set – costar Katherine Heigl recently adopted a daughter, 10-month-old Naleigh, while Chyler Leigh is also a new mom to daughter Anniston Kae, 4 months.

Katherine Heigl Hosts Ellen Pompeo's Baby Shower

Mom-to-be Ellen Pompeo was joined by 25 friends, including Kate Walsh, Sandra Oh and Rebecca Gayheart, for a baby shower held Saturday afternoon at Katherine Heigl's home in the Los Feliz section of Los Angeles.
Pompeo and her husband Chris Ivery are expecting a baby daughter in October.
As an eyewitness told PEOPLE, "Ellen looked gorgeous in a white summer dress with her hair in a braided up-do. She seemed very excited to celebrate with her girlfriends."

Just how do Hollywood's finest manage to get those prime locations court side and in the lower bowl? Some buy in bulk – Lakers' season ticket holders include Jack Nicholson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Dustin Hoffman, Penny Marshall, Dyan Cannon and Glenn Frey, to name a few. But that's not the only way to get a foot on the floor. "The main way most of the celebrities get in are through seats given to them by studios, record companies, major talent agencies and production companies," says Lakers' spokesman John Black. "On a
given night, we may have 40 celebrities here but I may only be aware of five of them myself."

Ellen Pompeo Is Pregnant

Ellen Pompeo and her husband, Chris Ivery, are starting a family together, her rep, Jennifer Allen, confirms to PEOPLE.
"It's great news," says Allen. "They're ecstatic."
The Grey's Anatomy star, 39, and Ivery, 41, a music producer, were married by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg in a low-key ceremony in November 2007. The couple met in a grocery store in 2003 and began dating six months later.

• Ellen Pompeo, throwing hubby Chris Ivery a 41st birthday bash at ONE Sunset in Los Angeles. Guests – like Grey's Anatomy costar Eric Dane and wife Rebecca Gayheart – feasted on a chef's choice tasting menu, which included Maine sea scallops, chestnut tortelloni and truffle mac 'n' cheese. Then, it was time for dessert and another treat: "They sang "Happy Birthday" and Chris smiled through the whole song," says an onlooker. "He and Ellen were really cute together, she wanted to him to have fun and enjoy his birthday."

• Not-so-newlywed anymore, Ellen Pompeo and Chris Ivery stopped into L.A.'s Kitchen 24 for a casual dinner at the bar. Dressed down, the two chowed on veggie burgers. "They were really nice and unassuming," says an onlooker. "They were lovey-dovey from the moment they walked in. They were holding hands and leaning into each other."

Stars Celebrate Boston's Big Win

Okay, so it wasn't quite like Los Angeles. But the stars still turned out in force for game six of the Lakers-Celtics championship series in Boston Tuesday night.
And it's a good thing, too, because the Bean Town boys put away Kobe and Co. in a 131-92 rout – becoming the new NBA Champions.
Hometown boy Donnie Wahlberg – who predicted the victory to PEOPLE last week – pulled buddy Joey McIntyre onto the court for some post-game revelry.
